  1. I would bring back Bully and shift Tokely back to his more familiar right back berth. I would also replace nick with Sanchez or even Mcbain.

I think Bully definitely has to come back for this game. Hes been made a scapegoat for the loss of a two nil lead at Dundee - I'm sure he has learned his lesson. Butcher bring him back!!

  2. I would like both County and Dundee to draw today. Then a midweek replay that goes into extra time and a long drawn out penalty shoot out. I personally dont care who goes through after that - I dont like any of them!!!!

  3. As many folk have said throughout this thread, we still have a chance of winning the league. There's still a third of the season left and so there's still time for things to go horribly wrong, but i'm delighted that we're in with a wee shout and i find it strange that so many folk on this week's matchday thread seem ready to write off our chances.

Could not agree more Caley Stan.

Look whether you believe or not, now is the time to get behind your team and give them your full support. Although we have made it difficult for ourselves we STILL have a chance of promotion. On our day we are the best team in this league and I believe we will win the league. C'MON BELIEVE!!!

  4. I was over the moon when I heard we were two up against dundee today. I still think other teams will takes points off them - as other teams will take points off us. Is the league still do-able? I hope so.

Its oh So doo able. BELIEVE!!!!

  5. Believe it or not I still BELIEVE. We gave Dundee the point today when we tried to sit back and defend our lead, had we continued to attack them we would have scored a third.

Im going to make a bold prediction -

Dundee 33 points to play for will drop 11

County 39 points to play for will drop 12

Queens 42 points to play for will drop 14

ICTFC 36 points to play for will drop 4

Someone do the math and tell me who will win the league according to my predictions - (honestly I haven't worked it out)

Well done today boys - keep up the good work. I STILL BELIEVE.

It won't happen but based on your prediction the top 4 would finish like this:

    Inverness 71pts

    Dundee 70pts

    Ross C*unty 69pts

    Queens 67pts

    BELIEVE.

  6. Im going to make a bold prediction -

Dundee 33 points to play for will drop 11

County 39 points to play for will drop 12

Queens 42 points to play for will drop 14

ICTFC 36 points to play for will drop 4

That prediction isn't bold. It's utterly ridiculous. You think that from now until the end of the season that ICT won't drop any more points than they already have done in the last two games!? Then add in the fact that we have still to play Queens, Dundee and County and that makes your prediction even more bizarre.

A prediction maybe bizarre or ridiculous but does that make it improbable? BELIEVE.

  8. I brought that up a few weeks back. What the hell are some people on? Just because we let a goal in does not mean you need someone to belame. And if there is no obvious choice to belame, its Esson that gets it. Waken up you idiots.

I was embarrassed by some of the shouts on Saturday. The ones about Esson were particularly cringe worthy. Our fans are nothing short of pathetic sometimes. Fully with Foran on this one.

I agree wholeheartedly the fans at the TCS are way too quick to get on the players backs and the abuse is unwarranted. Give NEGATIVITY the red card and get behind the team. While minutes remain on the clock, the game can still be won. BELIEVE!

  9. A point gained against Ayr United? How times have changed.

From the last five seasons, yes, but cast your mind back to March 2004 with Inverness CT trailing Clyde by 7points in the league. A 3-1 win over Clyde was followed by a 1-1 draw away to Ayr on March 23rd. This left us 6 points behind.

When we beat Dundee on Saturday we'll be 6 points behind with a game in hand. The writing is on the wall.....BELIEVE!

  10. In some respects I'm disappointed to see him go. You have to look at the facts here. At County in Division 2, he was played often with two other strikers alongside him and given the support he needed. He was also played as a poacher in a Kris Boyd, Filippo Inzagi kind of role. Over the course of a couple of months, Brew had him playing in a league that was two higher than he had been in, up front on his own, as a target man with long balls being punted at him at every given opportunity. The reason he "failed" here was because he was played the wrong way, with too much expectation put on his shoulders.

The fact is Andy Barrowman is Division 2 striker and nothing else. The reason he failed was because he was simply not good enough for that/this level. He'll make a great partner for Rory one day I'm sure.

  11. i think that Adam is a great young striker who must have nerves of steel. Agree that penalty could prove vital for us. Hope he can stay injury free as he's pretty vital to the team at the moment. Also hope he stays at the TCS for a long time to come.

I quite agree. Fans should watch him closely - his first touch is usually class, he holds the ball up exceptionally well and I dont think he is as slow as some people would have you believe. Oh and a minor detail he is our top scorer and could well finish the season as top scorer in SFL1. Keep up the good work.

  12. This was not what wilsononourwing would have wanted, but all is not lost yet, although we are making it difficult to believe.

Your right all is not lost far from it. We gained a point today. We are one point closer to County and one point closer to Dundee. Todays result means nothing - its what happens in March that counts. We're entering the business end of the season and Butcher and the boys will do the business. There will be a few twists and turns and the odd suprise before the end of the season but we'll come out on top. BELIEVE.

I think its imperative that everyone gets FULLY behind the team now. If we BELIEVE, they'll BELIEVE.
