Absolutely pathetic. Calder came on and did zilch. He jogged around doing nothing. What a waste of a wage. Oakley is horrendously poor, Baird is a headless chicken, Vigurs thinks he is better than he actually is, Polworth is a lightweight, the Canadian chiel is heading for a record amount of bookings, Raven is finished, Donaldson mispasses practically every time, Brad is honest, but that's it. Who,s left..... others were equally inept. It is just as well OFW was in good form. Completely outplayed by QotS and they should be ashamed to call themselves footballers. Not enough boos at the end for my liking.

Totally disgruntled. We should have lost 3-0.

    More boonings required

  2. It's always going to be hard to play against 12 men.  I thought Craig Thomson's performance was flabbergasting; it was like different rules for each team.  Their defenders were all over McKay and Shinnie without punishment, yet Celtic players were awarded fouls whenever one of our guys so much as breathed on them.  From the moment Doran got blatantly tugged back on a counter-attack and he wouldn't even give a free-kick, let alone a yellow card, I knew there was no hope for us today.  He was five yards away from Fraser's blatant handball and refused to give the penalty, and 90 seconds later Celtic scored.  His decision to stop play for a Kayal 'injury' when we had an attack on was nothing short of scandalous - he signalled to everyone that there was a head knock, yet Kayal got up instantly when play stopped and had a knock to his thigh.  In most countries, people like Thomson aren't even trusted to hold a pair of scissors - in Scotland we make them referees.

I didn't think it was a poor performance from us today at all.  Draper and Doran particularly stood out for me with excellent shifts, and our full backs both played very well.  I don't know why Esson got the nod over Reguero; he looked a bit uncertain at times though I don't think he was at blame for any of the goals.  The only big disappointment was Celtic's second, where we switched off after a corner was initially cleared and Gershon was virtually unchallenged as he headed home.  I don't think it's unreasonable to claim that we have played well enough in the last four games to take something from each, and I just hope the players keep their heads held high because we will win plenty of games when we are playing as well as that.

    Exactly

  3. well count me as 1 of the 2500, but why would someone who wanted to go to the game have to make 2 trips to the stadium on a Sunday with little public transport? The 'real fan' i refer to is one who comes to every game he can - work shifts permitting but is not a ST holder!

just reading that Bundesliga fans can stand behind the goals ( oh right thats what the old firm or anyone else at caley park in the south stand are allowed to do) for 9.50 euro

just added another moan in case you never noticed mun

  4. well some 'real fans' locked out of the stadium today as no tickets on sale at the ground!

i suspect the ones who took up the offer were probably gers fans anyway and if there were any 'jonny come lateleys' they definately wont be back on todays performance.

vast gaps in the north stand indicate a severe lack of 'real fans'

  5. I thought that Tades second v Killie was a classic strikers goal. Perhaps just somewhere there is a portion of his footballing brain connected to his foot, and that like rooney/wyness etc given time he will score heaps more

  6. If there is one common factor about most of our games this pre season its that Proctor has been ripped apart in almost all of them. Was never the best player but was always reasonably solid, he seems to be struggling though.

Proctor got a lot of stick from the gaffer after Livi. I wont go in to it any more than that as it crosses a line, but put it this way, it would be understandable if his confidence was knocked.

    Not much change here then

  7. Cannot understand how the stand side lineman who throughout the entire game couldn't make a decision as to whether the ball was out and to which side the throw was for, suddenly give a decision to red card russel, then blananty ignore two very obvious hand balls by the midden in the box. conspricay or just the usual
