  1. Whereabout in Spain are ya goin ?

Playa Paraiso , its 20 minutes from Murcia Airport also i dont think its far from Alicante ,

I sent the apartment owner an Email enquiring about possibilty of seeing football & he told me there's plenty bars with big screens , so there could be a fair chance we'll see Caley v Rangers game  :021: , also the Premiership wont be started either :021:

  2. Richie will train as Richie always has and he will play. He and the club have had talks about the allegations and, only if, anything official comes from all this will any other action be taken.

As for criminal actions, contrary to what the press reported, it takes police forensics minutes, not months, to analyse substances. Richie was not charged and I dont believe he will be. So lets not get into further debate, but let things lie, and allow the guy to get on with the job he has to do for us and ICT

Aye i'm all for that , Just gutted i'm not going to be at 1st game of season against Rangers ( not back from Jollys till 5th  :029: 0)

  4. A typical weekend for myself & mates was ,  One in the Royal (Now the Clydesdale bank , Academy Street ) , along to the Eagle (upstairs ) then a couple in the Moray & along to the Tenerife (famous for Jelly Beans , Blue Lagoons , Maggie Ryan & Graham Bell .

Then we'd go downstairs to the Caley  Bop the night away & if we were lucky enough to have any money left we'd get a burger at one of the vans on way home. Ahhhhhh those were the days

  5. I've always wondered what exactly Inverness lacks that makes it so uninhabitable for many footballers and especially there other halves???

Probably because they believe Haggis are beasties who run around the hills & glens up here ! & we dont get electricity or hot running water & we live in wee butt n bens  or even caves !

  6.

Does anyone know if our 1st game of the season against Rangers is getting shifted to the Monday night ? I'd resigned myself to missing this game when it was originally down for Saturday the 4th .

I now live in hope cos i'm back from Jollys on the Sunday !  :024:

  7.

Celtic because i really detest them & was never so devastated at the way they put us out of the cup in the 89th minute last season .

Also would be delighted to finally get a win over Aberdeen , which ive a feeling we will ( hope its at home we do it !)

  8. The season may well be seven weeks from starting but I'd like to think that just for once we might have tried to assemble our squad prior to commencing pre-season training and the usual raft of meaningless friendlies.  Alas, the silence surrounding the season ahead is deafening.

Dargo and Dods have departed despite Grasser’s repeated threats to smash the club’s wage structure.  Meanwhile Buchanan opts for Partick Thistle, McManus stays at Dunfermline and Mensing heads for Motherwell.  Our playing squad is undoubtedly depleted and there is no sign of anyone arriving to fill the gaps let alone move us forward and avoid a potential relegation dog-fight.

Moreover, there’s no suggestion of a single decent pre-season friendly which might generate a degree of interest amongst the apathetic sneck public or heaven-forbid generate some positive press coverage in the close season.  The same old Highland League and Division 2/3 sides don’t count I’m afraid.

There’s been nothing official on the pre-season jaunt to Italy nor any announcement on our new sponsorship deal.

Don’t get me started on the Elton John/Intertoto farce.

But never mind Charlie and Grasser are p.issing about playing Masterchef at Rocpool so all in the world is fine and dandy.

In short the same old amateurish approach that we’ve come to expect.

    :019:

Here Here , i couldnt agree more , well said YMIP  :clapping03:
  9.   This is all we need eh , a Caley Thistle player embroiled in a drugs scandal & the possibility of losing him , i'm beginning to get frustrated , we've had all the arseing about with Craig Dargo's will he wont he stay saga & now this !!!!!

No word of any new signings yet , i reckon we've missed the boat as far as getting any quality players in ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  10. I never once heard the Cheerleaders getting booed off.

I don't think they helped bring people to games, but it was good to see them out there doing something they enjoyed and there's merit in promoting that kind of activity at the club as well.  The club should be welcoming any group of performers with open arms at home matches and allowing them to do there thing whatever it be.  If nothing else it helps kill half-time boredom.

Here Here , i whole heartedly agree

  11.   Next season i feel the club really needs to get more bums on seats , any ideas how we can encourage that ?

a bit of half time entertainment maybe, like  kids taking penalties against the mascots ? or mascots against each other ?
