  2. I could not agree more IHE.  It all depends on how he can cope with Mackie.  (don't know if Caley approves of this post seeing he likes to monitor me!)

Well as you're not being insolent or asking someone for a fight, I will have to give you my seal of approval this time.  :003:

As for Fraser I say stick with him for the time being. Dropping him now may effectively end his ICT career, at least as our first choice 'keeper. I'd like nothing more than to see a local lad between the sticks for us, and I think he should be given the chance to work through this dodgy spell.

  3. Of course its very possible Gringo.....what a stupid post.

Here's 5 stupid posts for you:

Is that single finger display deemed appropriate behaviour for a senior moderator?

    Not "patently obvious" Scotty.

Thank goodness for that... the last thing we want is another Scotty "War and Peace" post!

Who's expecting you to keep your mouth shut?  I am just as much affected by this annoying postal strike as anybody else, you silly boy!

Of course its very possible Gringo.....what a stupid post.

The above are your last 5 posts, in fact.

So, donmac, what exactly are you bringing to the table here? Feck all but mindless bile it seems. Do you have an opinoin on anything regarding football and ICT?

  4. Great result fot them. Bit lucky though, Lyon hit the woodwork 3 times!

BTW, Castle Grayskull is where the good guys live in He-Man. So by paying Rangers this compliment you must be a bit of a fan eh?  :004:

  5. I would have to agree that I am a silly old fool and I should have had more sense. I reacted to being wound up. I came in through the Main Stand and made my way to the North Stand - only to be sent back to the Main Stand. The steward involved told me that he had been asked to make life as awkward as possible for me. I sat in the Main Stand and the lad who was sitting with me told me that he had paid in at the North Stand. He gave me his North Stand ticket and I made my way to the North Stand. I was stopped and asked to return to the Main Stand. I then made the mistake of refusing and asked to speak to the police. They advised me to go back to the Main Stand and I said I would rather leave the ground. They then arrested me for being drunk in the stadium. I was hancuffed and put in the cells - but I was released two hours later.

The old fool has learned his lesson - the hard way as ever - and my ego is shattered. I feel ashamed and disgraced but I am also very angry at Mike Smith becos it is clear to me that I was targetted from the word go.

Fair play to you IHE for that post. What p1sses me off more than anything is that you made a 700 mile round trip and missed one of the best ICT performances you will ever see! Given your love of the club, I would much rather be reading about your thoughts on the match  than all this other bollox.

Yes, it sounds like you were targetted from the word go, but your cleverest response to that would have been to be on your best "Sunday School" behaviour (with a smug grin, of course). Hopefully you'll do that next time (assuming they haven't banned you too!)

  6. He wasn't ejected, he was moved to the Main Stand. He then decided to take the p1ss and borrow someone else's ticket to try and get back into the North Stand. His doing, his downfall. He should have sat on his erse in the Main Stand and enjoyed the rest of the game, but not IHE, he's got to push it 'till he gets chucked out.

Stop sucking up to this egotist.

  7. when tickets were checked in the north stand he had one for the main stand and was asked to move there.  he did question why he had to move when there were empty seats.  once in the main stand he sat with friends who normally sit in the north stand but had moved to sit in the main stand.  one of these friends gave him their ticket for the north stand and he attempted to return there.

Sounds like he p1ssed on his own chips there then. Or maybe he was deliberately trying to be confrontational and attention-seeking? Surely not IHE?

  8. What a fantastic afternoon! Every player was excellent from start to finish. Some superb one touch play especially down the right. Loads of energy and channelled aggression with hardly a foul and no cards given against us. Loads of chances. Tons of entertainment. Even the weather was great. As my old mate Lou Reed used to say:

    Just a Perfect Day...

  9.                                   FRASER

                MUNRO          McGUIRE            HASTINGS

    TOKELY      COWIE      BLACK      NICULAE        McBAIN

                            WYNESS        BREWSTER

  10. I cannot and probably never will understand these Invernessian idiots that support the OF.

Ha! Inverness idiots? That's rich coming from you! You're posting these trite comments without a thought as to why someone living in Inverness might legitimately want to follow one of the OF.

Maybe the moved here from Glasgow...if you move to Aberdeen for your work are you going to start supporting the Dons? Maybe they grew up in Inverness in the 70s like me when the Inverness clubs hardly got a mention in the schools? Lots of other reasons.

  11. I'm very saddenned to hear of the death of Colin McRae. He was a sporting hero of mine since he won the WRC in 1995.

How ironic that in the week our international football team has its best ever result to make our nation rejoice, we then lose the greatest rally driver we've ever had and now our nation mourns.  :007:

  12. From UEFA.com:

UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Lithuania midfielder Saulius Mikoliunas for deceiving the referee, following the incident which brought about a penalty for Lithuania in the UEFA EURO 2008? qualifying Group B match against Scotland in Glasgow on Saturday.

    :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:

    Penalty award

Mikoliunas fell in the penalty area in the 61st minute of the game, which Scotland won 3-1. Lithuania were awarded a spot-kick from which they scored. Having studied video evidence of the incident in question, the UEFA disciplinary inspector decided to charge the player concerned. The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will examine the case on 19 September.

    :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:

    Disciplinary regulations

The charge is based on Article 10, para. 1c of the UEFA disciplinary regulations (Misconduct of players): Players may be suspended for two competition matches, or for a specified period, for acting with the obvious intent to cause any match official to make an incorrect decision or supporting his error of judgement and thereby causing him to make an incorrect decision.

  13. That's the last thing we need. Regardless of who is appointed we all need to stick together as a club to start climbing the table. What good would a boycott be? Would they sack the new boss because of it? Get lost.

  14. I'd definitely go for Warnock. I think his biggest strength is motivating his team, and with the players we have we are more than capable of finishing 7th/8th/9th this season if they have the right attitude.

I don't think he'd use us as a stepping stone to a bigger club. He's 59 later this year, financially he'll be very comfortable by now, so I can't see him moving into another high pressure job in the Premiership or elsewhere. I get the impression that he and his wife would love to live up here for a few years, and if he was boss of the local SPL team at the same time, then that sounds like it would be the perfect job for him.
