  1. Before my time Mantis and Charlie - cant remember the mon - we always struggled fer keepers in School days at the IRA - best keepers in my days was Kenny MacKenzie and John Rudkin - but most looked better for the sweeper/captain in front of them.

Oh and then there was Tarzan Findlay :rotflmao::rotflmao:

Think you are talking about my uncle Ken. He was at the IRA and was Caley goalie for a few years?

  2. Ryan is another hero from recent weeks & we should get him signed up on a new contract ASAP!

5 clean sheets in a row now but I was wondering what is our record for the most clean sheets in a row is & what the longest number of minutes without conceding a goal is?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

TBH, we really haven't had to relly on him those last few games. No disrespect Ryan

Bit short sighted me thinks. Ryan Essen has more than proved his worth this season. He is an excellent keeper, probably best in the sfl. Only Tuffey is comparable.

Had Butcher not decided to play Fraser in the last few games last season we may well have stayed up.

  3. 5 points - Rooney for his first half performance. Chased everything usually with good result.

3 points - Foran, looked hungry and up for it throughout. Some fantastic defensive headers towards the end of the game.

1 point - Duncan. Just edged it from Hayes or Proctor.

  4. Thanks Blackie for some fantastic memories. You've given your all to ICT over the years. We'll certainly miss your passion. No one can have doubted your commitment over the past few years. Just don't know how we are going to replace you? All the best with the Jambos and maybe a Scotland cap?

  5. IM gutted - and left wondering why did'nt Butcher put Rooney on - the top goal scorer at least give him a change to see if he could get a goal back - no he puts Eric on who before he came to Inverness never scored a goal Im not saying Eric is a bad player but for a vital match point that is needed why not Rooney? Why did he not put him on at Motherwell and Kilmarnock - i think maybe he just does'nt like him - but hey he knows best. At the end of the day the Manager is to blame he cannot let his feelings about a player interfer with the best outcome for the club. I think he gave Imrie to many chance's - anyway all the ranting does not change the result. Doctors differ and patienc's die Managers don't like certain players and teams get relegated. I wish Inverness and the boys all the best and hope they come back up next season.

I thought Odhiambo looked good when he came on. The time he had was just too short. Did he not provide the cross for Duncan's tame shot? If that had gone in it would have been a fantastic piece of play.

  6. He was rank rotten today, but the lad definetely has something I would try and keep hold of him. McBain can walk though......

McBain should have been at LB - Tokely at RB, with Mihadjuks and Munro as CB's...

    That would have worked

    Johnboy, my thoughts exactly.

  7. I won't use my role as a Business Education teacher to go into too much details about Supply and Demand... but there is no point in changing prices for our game next week. Especially when we've already offered discounted entry for the block 4 home game package released last month, in addition to games against the likes of Hamilton earlier in the season. We want to attact people to buy season tickets next season, and if we keep dropping prices randomly then our current season ticket holders will start to feel that they are getting short changed... and rightly so!

Securing relegation on our own patch, on the last day of the season would be PRICELESS. Screw the ?5 or so that some are thinking we should reduce prices by...

So, it's going to be a sell out?

  8. Yes, but it's still a lot of money when you are going as a family of 4. My childre are 13 and 11 - any reduced admission fee would be welcome.

Averages out at ?10.50 a head? I wouldn't say that that is overly expensive if you only go to the occassional game.

We go to all of the away games barr Aberdeen and some of the home games. What would that average out at? There is also the travel, parking and pies etc to add on.

Don't want to get into a big debate. I just think ICT could reduce pries to attract a bigger crowd.

  9. Just looked on the official site.

Main Stand Adult: ?24.50 Main Stand Child: ?19.50

North Stand Adult: ?19.50 North Stand Child: ?14.50

Family Section Adult: ?14.50 Family Section: ?6.50

Therefore if you'd save alot of money if you can gets seats in the Family Section in the North Stand.

  11. Really hope we will. Things just aren't going to be the same if we don't. My boss at work who is a Heart's fan thinks we should be going back to the First Division 'where we belong'.

Just don't want to go there.

  12. I go to games with my husband and 2 children. It was ?56 to get in to the Motherwell game and will cost us even more to get in on Saturday. The Motherwell game was a discounted rate. We all want to go the game on Saturdayand support ICT and probably over the season spend more than season ticket holders. Any incentive ICT could offer would be beneficial.

  13. there are fans who are on the dole who will not be able to afford to go at full price ,feed the kids or go to the match with them?

True but I was mainly aiming that comment at the people who don't want to go because it is ?2o to get into the biggest game in our SPL history but they would be happy to go if it was ?10.

I take your point about going to the games being a student but the well game was only 15 quid for atudents and home games are 14.50. Compared to the other SPL clubs it's not too bad.

    Why reduce the prices?

Might just encourage '[email protected] fans to come to the game.

I don't want a shower of them in the North Stand like you get when we play the old firm with so called 'celtic' and 'rangers' fans from inverness sitting in the North Stand.
