Looking at trains, even a lunchtime kick off on Saturday would be a lot better. There are at least 2 trains that  will get there in plenty of time for kick off from Inverness from only £22.60 rtrn. And the fact that I could then get to the game didn't cross my mind!

Us, Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Northern Hearts fans all travelling to Edinburgh on the same day - can't see that happening. If they moved the location of the game and gave us a lunch time Saturday, that could work.

Edinburgh gets 60000 at Murrayfield for a Scotland game, there can't be more than 45000 at both games. and they would be staggered. 12.45pm and 3pm in opposite sides of the city.  I started thinking about this tounge in cheek, but I might be on to something.

  3. So off in January by the looks of it.

Reckon we should have just kept Shane Sutherland. He seems better than both Toby and Curtis. Even though he has only played 5 times for Elgin (please tell me he's been injured?!) I still think he'd be a better bet. Offers what Toby does and different to Billy.

I never rated Sutherland as a premier league player.  He has played 15 times for Elgin scoring 4 goals in 3 games. That will be his level. I haven't seen Curtis play so cannot give a proper opinion, but the fact that he has so few 1st team appearances for the 5 clubs he has signed for in 7 years says it all for me.

  4. Evening All,

Hibee here not hear to gloat or anything like that,

Last season ICT took over our pub called the four in hand (massive hibs pub) when you played that MOB on the semi-final.  I met a lot off very decent ICT supporters had a drink and a right good day (Obv apart from the result)

Whilst i agree that it's a very poor decision again from the SPFL with regards to the venue and timing and IMO it probably should have been at Tannadice, If you do come back down to Easter Road i would just like to say that you are more than welcome to take over our Pub and use it as your own for the day against that manky mob! Although a do appreciate you all probably hate hibs right now last season when you came down was fantastic and hope we can do it again and hope for a better result!

Is this the pub that promised food(I never seen any) for the fans and said there was plenty of room(sardines) and ran out of some drinks?  Think I will give it a miss if it is.

  5. It was refreshing to hear his understanding about the fan base. Unlike the former management who complained about numbers, Richie see's the effect of being a young club and the effect of the Ugly Sisters. He also acknowledges the good work being done in the schools and community by the club in trying to recruit young fans.

I am more hopeful now that he may stay past this season, but only slightly, 60/40 in our favour.

  6. I wonder if the players had got wind of what was happening with the ex assistant. Then went out and put on a brilliant performance as a "gerrit upya" Of course maybe its no coincidence that the ex manager wasn't involved when that performance happened. Players had freedom to play without fear of a bawling at.

  7. I am sure that the ex manager will want Foran at Hibs. His only "success" has been with his assistant and Foran in tow. And at the age of 33, it would be Forans last chance of a decent pay day.  So I am resigned to losing Foran. Just hope its not until summer.

Foran is on Sportsound tonight. send in a question here.

#BBCSportsound 6.10 - @ICTFC fans questions to me please for Richie Foran who joins us on prog. #Inverness

I cant understand the bitterness towards Butcher , nor hibs for that matter, he has worked his ass off for you lot, got you into 2nd in the league, cup semi v the puddle drinkers but because he has decided to join a massive club (no disrespect to you lot) you have suddenly turned against him ..why ?

Are you completely deluded? He sneaked behind our back and agreed terms without permission before Hibs even approached us. He made our chairman look like a fool telling the bbc they were wrong. He didn't even have the balls to step into the dugout. Doesn't surprise me to hear such retarded comments from a H I VEE tbh.

Utter bollox ..you are the bitter & deluded one ..hibs were above board in everything they done ..dry yer ******* eyes & get over it !!!

My eyes are dry thanks! Can you quit the smack and translate the rest please

You shouldn't make statements you cant substantiate Rival. Nobody believes Butcher sneaked behind anyones back bar yourself.

Can't substantiate Alex, but people have suspicions that something happened before Tuesday. Wether it was Hibs, his agent or Butcher himself, I suspect contact was made.

  9. Butcher is off.  Hibs will pay compensation, or Butcher will resign.  If ICT can get decent compo from Hibs all well and good. I would also hope there would be a clause to say that they cannot come in for any players in January.  If compo cannot be agreed, Butcher will have to resign, even if the Hibs job falls through. There is no way he could come back to manage the club now after basically telling the club he would rather be somewhere else. The longer this saga goes on, the more of his good work will be forgotten.

  10. Same happened to us a few years ago. At Annan league cup tie when only main stand was in use. We were sat down for a while when this "gang" of the blanket and sweetie brigade arrived and told us we were in their seats. We moved eventually, but did communicate my dismay at their attitude. Ended up good as we sat next to the  dug out and had a laugh listening to Terry giving Imrie a mouthful for most of the game.
