You think Robbo is a better manager than Terry? Are you on the wind-up...
Butcer Malpas have been so Successful? I don't think so.
-
Bring Robbo back? gimme a feckin break.
Anyone has got to be better than Butcher & Malpas.
-
Maybe Terry should have had a loud word with the players! Bring back Robbo!

Missed this topic when I was on holiday, Can I still join in?

With our support so poor, we will be unable to retain Premier league football in Inverness for much longer.
-
After watching us against Celtic, I would consider this as a much more solid performance. We passed the ball around pretty good but remember the opposition.
-
This will be a test of Butcher's capabilities if he can turn this lot into a winning team in the near future!
-
This has got to be the worst I have seen from a so called Inverness team. Not one of these players we have signed this season look as though they are capable of playing passing football.

Lets get the season underway before starting this doom and gloom. I don't think I will lose any sleep over what Billy Dodds thinks.

This is the team that wanted to leave Scottish Football for many years, and did not hide the fact that they wanted to play in England and Europe. They did not care what would happen to the other clubs left behind. I say good riddance.

It would appear that we do not have a queue of players wishing to resign by TB's deadline. I would suggest that this shows a possible unrest within the dressing room! Do we know if anyone is talking to the players in question, or is it take it or leave it.(Full Stop). WE will need all God's help next season if we don't start negotiating with these guys. Amicable agreements are what we require.

I really do believe this is our worst season in the SPL. Butcher's experiment of bringing in new players, and getting rid of Grant Munro has not worked. He has stated that he wants to keep most of this squad together for next season. If this happens we are real candidates for relegation. (let's face it we only secured our position in the third last game of this season). If we want to play with the "Big Boys" we need a bit more support and income to let us do that. (Just like County)!

We could still get relegated this season but I somehow can't see Dunfermline winning all their remaining games. I think Butcher did a great job a couple of seasons ago when we went on that run to win the SFL and then we had a pretty decent season last year on our return to the SPL equaling our best ever finish. That is a decent track record.
This season has been very disappointing. There have been flashes of real potential and hope but these have quickly fizzled out and he does not seem to have any realistic plan to address the problems. We had real hope of a top 6 finish not so long ago and are probably safe now only because other teams have also been poor. Much of the blame for this poor performance must rest with Butcher.
I can accept one poor season on the back of 2 good ones but next season must be better. The Board also has a responsibility here. I don't advocate interference by the Board but it is reasonable to expect them to see there are a few things that need addressing and to expect Butcher to explain to their satisfaction what he proposes to do about them. If we are clear at the bottom come mid November (and current form suggests that is very likely) then he should go. I appreciate that it will cost us to cut his contract short but a drop to the SFL will cost even more.
I must admit i have felt the same about the relegation factor however I am now beginning to get concerned abot the next four games
Dunfermline are fighting for their chances. On todays performance we are obviously not fighting to the same extent. The others in the bottom six must be sensing our blood and fear and will want to cash in on us. So who are we going to take the last few important points from ? or do we just have to hope Dunfermline will panic and fall at the last hurdle?
Yes my positivity is waning slightly but my hopes are still high!
Maybe we should put Golobart and Gillet as our strike force next game.
I feel exactly the same. I am concerned the way we are playing both in defence and attack. Can he not see as most supporters do, that we require a good central defender and goalscorer.
Relegation is still a possibility this season, and a definite next season with the the same pool of players.

Lived in the Leachkin, so Telford Street was my nearest football ground (Thank you God). Caley supporter since 1950, and was totaly in agreement wth the merger. Aberdeen were my big team in those days, but the pleasure I get when ICT beat them is second to none.

Proctor is a liability to our club. It is time to shunt him before he costs us dearly!

I was listening to the game on line and as soon as they said Meekings was going off for Proctor I said 'That's that then, we've lost this one'. :irritated:
Agree with above. I certainly think Proctor is a liabilty in the team.

T.B's new style of play for this season is collapsing around him. Get it right quick or on your bike.
-
Extra Time. Ever hopeful!

Two players stood out for us today. Esson and Foran. The rest were average apart from Tokely and Hogg who were utter garbage.
-
They did have boards down.

Here I was in Malta on Friday night, I had taken my small laptop with me on holiday.Sitting on the balcony of my hotel and tuned into Russian Tv I can sit and watch ICT thrash the County, all with a glass of whisky by my side. If only the BBC could provide me with this service?
