  1. Dunc is no "yes man" but he has lost his mojo and his style of football. He has become more of a coaching manual manager. I have been at games and watched on TV where I was happy with the performance when you have a team of mercenaries and a gun with only one bullet to fire and nobody wanting to pull the trigger. I rather see Dunc visioning the opposition and some of his own players as feckin burglars. I can only suggest that he has had some sort of therapy. As for Montrose I would not be surprised if the plan was to defend in depth and nick a winner. That may work with a drilled team in the Bernabeau but not with a team of loanees at Links Park. As with most loanees signings I suspect there are clauses about playing time and that has to be a reason to limit wee Roddy's time on the park. With McAllister injured surely Roddy would be shoe-in rather than Lawal. Wait for another completely different performance on Saturday OR
  2. Do you not think that most of the loanees from England were positive but injuries played a part. I still think that getting shot of Carson and Welsh was a big mistake and add in the "losses" from last season like Allardyce - all money saving exercises. I do think that Dunc's lack of knowledge of our level of football and his naivety in playing "modern" football was admirable but you can't instill that quickly when the players don't know each other, are unknown quantities and there was nobody up front to utilise until Samuel arrived.
  3. Focus off the field, making and saving money, over reliance on some bargain basement loanees, injuries to all the better loanees, jettisoning the more reliable but higher earning stalwarts, no continuity and no forward apart from one and let's add an abysmal start to the season. Hopefully Samuel is not going to be a miss as there does appear to be more stability and promised recently.
  4. Oh well - play offs it is but lets not forget how Airdrie frcked us.
  5. This is not about the manager, the board or the players - this should be about the club, the shirt and the badge. Let the spirits of yore be with us.
  6. This post has been removed by the International Seer Society and the punishment is that the holders crystal ball will be misted for the next 7 days.
  7. As Friday 3rd May approaches I am reminded of a night in Perth when Ben Stein emotionally assured me that "It is inevitable that some defeat will enter into even the most victorious life. The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated, it is only defeated when it surrenders"
  8. Aye he has let us down so many times over the years. Hang on, you don't think nobody else had the bottle?
  9. Well not everybody has access to a crystal ball Ronnie and, as you are aware, the Seer Society take exception at blatant prophecies. Anyway just going to take the dogs, Dunc and Fergie, for a walk through Stanley Park.
  10. FFS Let sleeping dogs lie and re-energise. It ain't over till the Fat Lady sings.
  11. Looks like you leaving the Market Bar
  12. It's not the players - it's the manager
  13. 53/47 possession - 15 shots, 6 on target and 2 blocked, 8 corners and a missed penalty. Sounds like we were under the cosh and the tactics were all wrong.
  14. Well the true Dogs of War do it in the last game of the season. I suppose Ferguson missed the penalty ??
