Mark Ellis has joined Crewe
-
Daily Express says he rejected our bid to join Mansfield. Was he 1 of the 7??
-
Didn't really see enough of him to form an opinion. Looked comfortable on the ball but rather one paced
-
Apparently going to Motherwell for pre-season training (according to the BBC gossip column)
-
BBC gossip column has him signing for Aberdeen today
-
If 2 more clubs say 'No' then how we vote becomes academic. Maybe sitting on the fence a while longer might be the wisest course of action??
-
Didn't Gnakpa come from Walsall?
-
ESPN MIGHT be keen to cover more SPL games in the future after being outbid for rights to show games from the Premiership beyond 2012/13.
-
Old Rangers get to vote on whether or not new Rangers get back into the SPL!!
-
So how many players do County have that have points to prove against us?
Munro, Vigurs, Duncan, and now Tokely
Never mind Gary Warren is really looking forward to playing in the local derbies between us & County both in Inverness and the neighbouring village of Ross
-
Sunday papers had him linked with Sheffield United
-
Our contract offer must have been pretty poor if he's getting a better deal at County as they apparently have a pretty rigid wage structure.
Sad day
-
Is this the standard of players we should be expecting from now on? Guess we'll have to wait and see what he's like. I won't be holding my breath.
-
Skint he enough to put an improved deal on the table for Hayes and Tansey ?
They may well have been on a fraction of the wages Tokely was on and hence more scope to make an improved offer
Without actual figures that's a moot point. Despite being so 'skint' as some allude too, we still seem to manage to make improved offers to the players Butcher really wants to keep. Did Foran take a pay cut with his new 2 year deal in January??

Butcher had better do better next season or he is finished. Granty now Tokely, the heart has been ripped from the club and the fans will not forgive that if he has a another season like last.
Well said. By my reckoning Esson is now the only non-Butcher signing left. Terry is going to have to pull many rabbits out of the hat this summer and going by his past success rate that seems highly unlikely. Obviously the old guard couldn't go on forever but in my opinion the more of them that have left the weaker we've become.

What depressing news. A real end of an era. Good luck Ross ICT will never be the same again

I am all for setting a deadline if you have an inclination that it will in turn make your out of contract players sign on a bit sooner however if its true that no-one has signed on then the deadline was pretty ineffective.
I agree that we need to see who is available to play for us next season but IMO this just reinforces the point that contract talks should have happened months ago. I dont buy into the excuse that we cannot negotiate with players while the threat of relegation is there. Relegation release clauses or relegation wage drops could easily we written into contracts
Foran got a new 2 year deal in January without a problem. Was he the only one offered a new contract then???
-
Do we not have more pressing concerns to worry about rather than bitching about a player who left 3 years ago?
-
If you weren't worried before you should be now!!

I guess Hayes will be earning more money but it's not really a big step up the footballing ladder. I had assumed he'd be heading down south but maybe no one else was interested of course?? Worrying times given our management’s team limited success in player recruitment
-
I'm not renewing mine. Hoping to pay at the gate for the County games but the last 2 seasons of dreadful football have killed my enthusiasm
-
1 good free kick and scoring a penalty pretty much sums up his season. A deadball specialist with no end product. No loss
-
Face facts it's highly unlikely we'll never have heard of any of the players we'll be signing and I'm sure a lot of them won't have played any first team football
-
Dodgy penalty ruins the game as a contest. Well done ref! Hearts probably would have won anyway though
Emergency Board Meeting?
in Caley Thistle

Perplexing statement to say the least. It'a almost as if someone has uploaded the rough draft before it's been through the 'spin' cycle!!
