  1. I'm sure it wasn't to the surprise of a few thousand ICT fans at the game. But hell I take everything the media (of any form) says with a pinch of reality. Its always over hyped and written to a formula where bad news is often better than good. While you can put most of the bad press we get down to people hating the fact we're in the spl (for now). I'd have to say this is down to poor reporting where they're probably just copying the line the other papers are taking.
  2. How in anyway can a national flag from a country which is recognized to be a sovereign state by 103 other countries offensive. Sure maybe there are extremists but lets get real there are very few countries that don't have a history of violence and oppression. Just because we have become accustomed to the Celtic/Rangers flags doesn't make there usage right. Both countries in this current conflict are at fault but ICT are well out of order if a man can no longer express himself or his/her heritage. Obviously offensive slogans or language is unacceptable (I think the 'get tae F***' posters are unnecessary)

    Team for Gretna

I'm thinking a better game will be had if the both sets of fans have a kick about instead. What with how both teams are doing we might have enough people there for 11 a side and a couple of subs.
  4. Niculae played well yesterday but the captain should be someone that has played for us for at least a few seasons the more the better (ie through thick and thin), someone with passion and that can drive the team forward (being the lone striker Nic would lose the ball to often to do that). Both Tokely and Fraser have played for us since they were kids and should get the shout. Rossco can drive the team forward but can often see :33: Fraser really saved us a few times yesterday and in the past but against Gretna surely he will have quiet game :rolleyes02: (please god)
  5. Mcguire is really not the level required and will never be can't defend in the air and is thus a liability. Hastings is also not helping by letting so many crosses in but at least gives place when pushing forward so he can stay if sort out the back four. Imerie looked out of place so jury is still out. Would rather Paarteleinen was given a run for the rest of the season. The biggest let down was the strange decision to have two right backs playing??? In the end proctor was useless agaisnt the dons left mid and cost us a goal and Tokely who ended up playing both right mid and right back was nackered. Tokely and Wilson on the right side have done us well many a time but obviously Brewster knows better :crazy07:
  6. Nope just really thought he had a good game, he has had a few howlers in the past but was not why we lost the game yesterday
  7. Duncan was by far the player on the park for us (albeit for the first half) : 1. the first goal he toke the free kick (his ability to find the opposition player in space is uncanny :015:) 2. his pass that found Marius in the box unmarked who should have scored if the aberdeen defender hadn't clattered him. (amazing when you think how much the fans rate his passing :014:) 3. he put us in font with a left foot strike then celebrated (and every in the stadium knows why) 4. the player who looked most annoyed at losing the lead at half time. Maybe his passion was to beat Aberdeen and not necessarily win for Caley but at least he put in a performance for us which i think filtered through to the rest of the team after the half. The ref handled the whole match badly neither of the cards Duncan got were really deserved, the dons fans had to expect he would be pleased scoring against them but still they acted like idiots, he never even left the field for f**k sake. And then the ball kicking at half time that's the worst of all sure it was into the main stand but it nearly cleared the thing. Grant's clearances did more damaged to the home fans. Any ref with a brain would have had a world with him at half time and would left him with a yellow and a ref's final warning hanging over his head in the second half. :029:
