  1. If you go to the thread "Log-in on the Home Page" you will see Scotty's explanation that there may be a glitch due to a time issue between U.K. time and Canadian time. He also said that it would not be addressed/sorted until the new software is in place.

With me it might also be the fact that I delete all temp files regularly via the methods I described in that thread.

So I am going to try a process of elimination using these temp. filed deletion methods since I am not completeley sure that eliminating the " browser temporary file delete every time the browser is shut down " feature is positively the root of the problem.

Thanks for your offer of further help at this time. Scarl :022:et.

Hey Scarl, I'm having the same problem - even though I've ticked to have an automatic log-in "forever", I'm greeted as a "guest" almost every time I got to our site!

Did you find a method that "did the trick".

    Jock.

  2. Billy Nelson is still match day announcer at Clach Park and usually takes the opportunity to play the "Westering Home to the Ferry" track from his own CD!

I didn't know that about Billy - who I count as a friend of mine for many years. I know he had some kind of a concert party for the tourists in the summer months. I'm still in touch with him via email.

  3. I'm fairly sure I'm correct in saying that the father of Billy Nelson (well known still in Sneckie), Henry Nelson, played in goal for the Citadel and performed the duties of trainer for the fantastic Dalneigh United with his son, Donnie Nelson, in goal. :rotflmao:

  4. Dunno how old I was at the time, but it was just after WWII when an Inverness Select side played a team of ex-first division team containing the Rangers goalkeeper (who had golden-coloured hair and looked something like a Greek god!) and other players just demobbed who had earlier been among the top players in Scotland.

I stood behind the Greek god's goal at the Howden end.
