  1. I think Fisher has to be given a chance, pushing Draper further forward to win highballs is not working, I don't feel Draper wins enough for a start. I hope the decision to not play Fisher is a footballing one and not due to any type of falling out, managers need to maintain discipline but not at the expense of SPL football.

  2. Poor display, but not unexpected,  it's the manner of the defeat and the soft goals conceded that frustrates fans. Any team in the league would have taken advantage of the defensive errors tonight. Important to remember it could be worse you could be a celtic fan, their season is over they will win the league easily and it would be a shock if they don't win the cup. We have everything to play for our season could got to the last game. We live for the odd highlight beating the old firm, a good cup run, an away win. Celtic know they are going to win with minimal effort every week. Minor point but was disappointed to see our ball boys wearing celtic tops and scarves tonight.

It's not over yet, all to play for , important thing is we are not detached at the bottom and our survival is in our own hands.

Hopefully lessons learned and the team move onwards and upwards

  4. Debateable if you are entitled to your opinion if its as moronic as that and quite frankly if the best adjective you can think up is **** (whatever that may be) sums up your contribution. Guess you were one of the 'supporters' today who failed to recognise we had a weakened and makeshift team out today. We have played worse and won, from the start we had people complaining about everything the players did, this negativity does get to the players, Couple of people in the north stand along from me kept a stream of criticism of players and manager probably thinking they were spreading their footballing wisdom but really just showing them to be the fools they are. If you don't want to support your local team through thick and then then get on a bus to Glasgow every second week and depending on which particular scarf you choose you will support a team that wins every week, suggest you pick green for the next 4 year then change to blue, don't throw away your ICT scarf as you will want to come along to the cup final every 10 years or so.

We had a great season last year, we are having a more challenging season this year, but that's what supporting a smaller team is all about, So man up, and support the team. Now is not the time to change the Manager, financially we cant compete with many of the teams around us, we are not an attractive proposition for an established ambitious Manager. If we are successful we will lose players and have to be realistic we are a selling and rebuilding team. This does not mean we cannot have moments in the sun, we are the Scottish Cup holders, its March and we are still in the cup, we are established in the SPFL and not in the relegation zone (yet) 20 years ago at the start of this journey this would certainly be seen as positive.

  5. Some caley fans really are a disgrace! Still second In the league and that's the first game at home we have lost and some fans still boo the team off the park! Yet they will still jump on the bandwagon when they are playing well. Attendances are bad enough but I don't want fans like that attending, just constantly putting the team down when they can! If you are such perfectionists become footballers yourself

These idiots that ran on to the pitch are not only an embarrassment to themselves but they have embarrassed Caley Thistle. Our club does not need fans like this.

Who knows what the consequences of this will be for the club. Will we need to pay out for more stewards? Will the club face a fine or any other sanction.

So yes the silly little boys that ran onto the pitch do need dealt with and made to face up to their irresponsible actions.

I sit in the North stand couldn't believe some of the comments, guy behind me was convinced it was all Hughes fault, and they should hoof it, it seemed to escape him we are in second place in the League and that  the day it does wrong he thinks  we should abandon the method of play that got us there! . Then this is the same guy who thought the two idiots were justified in entering the field of play  approaching the goalkeeper..."seemingly it was just a bit of fun, like the Dundee Utd supporters when they avoided relegation" I couldn't see the connection myself. I would imagine we will face a fine for this behaviour, and so we should, if this had happened at the other end and two Partick fans had approached Dean Brill. Its important to recognise Paul Gallacher's (PTs Keeper) part in this incident, he although initially a bit concerned, once he realised they were harmless idiots did not over react in any way and was a credit to his team.

I would encourage the  booing  'fans' to keep coming as the team need your money, but it is worth considering as the January window approaches any player who is considering a move may be influenced by your actions if they cant decide to stay or go.

  6. This needs to be stamped out now, I would imagine that people know who was involved in this, name them. I will be asking for a ticket next to the singing section at the next game in Dingwall, and I will 'self police' if this happens again. If people  think something like this is wrong, people should take action

If in the unlikely event these people every manage to form a relationship with the opposite sex and actually persuade  someone to let them reproduce I sincerely hope this never have to suffer this terrible illness.

  7. It's time for the fans to get behind the team.  My opinion and not everyone will agree is that Hughes won't  get sacked, the Inverness board have to think long term and while Hughes may not be the man for the job, he will be given time to prove himself or not as the case may be.

The Inverness job is not the most attractive for an established manager and we are caught in the position where we need an experienced manager  to sustain our expectations and try to improve the team.

Managers who may be wanted elsewhere will not come to a club that does not give them time. Things have to improve and maybe we the fans have to show the way, I sit in front  of 3 people in the north stand, 2 elderly men  and a woman  who never seem to shut up criticising the team and even laughing at mistakes, then have a go at the manager, at one point tonight I was wondering if I had enough money on me to offer them a refund to  clear off (fortunately I didn't).

I know  that they pay their money and have a right to opinions, as we all do, but get behind the team  or shut up, this negativity must get through to the players and confidence can't be high in the dressing room at the moment.  We expect high standards now from the players, so let's get behind the team, we have some very young players on the field now and they need our backing. I would hope that Hughes has some contacts in the game who can source some decent, and they will have to be cheap, new additions in the close season.  Top six finish and first major cup final, I would have been happy with that at the start of the season, the worry is that this bad form we have now struck will carry into next season.

Who knows what will happen, but we are Inverness, we are in the top league, we are top six and we are here to stay.

Twenty odd years ago in Inverness we would have been watching Highland League football if we wanted a live match, now we are bitterly disappointed if we don't beat Motherwell that's how far we have come, surely despite this bad patch this can be considered a success.

  8. Many People have to pick and choose their games due to cost of admission, and will obviously pick the "bigger games" if Charlie Christie was complaining about backing from fans it would seem a bit poor as I would not imagine he has paid to watch many games of football.

  9. Kingsmills ( or should that be Parkhead) you haven't clarified your post, you like a lot of people are of the opinion that Scottish Football is better without Rangers. How is it better?. We have had a good season, but crowds are down, there was no competition to Celtic in winning the league, Celtic on the day they won the league had to do cheap tickets for kids  to boost the crowd, crowds are down at all grounds, standard of play hasn't improved (ICT exception). Your comments about racists and bigots need backing up, how did Green pander to them?  Despite my recent posts I don't have a drum to beat about Rangers but do feel they have been unfairly treated and their treatment has been to the detriment of Scottish Football. Celtic are going to win the league for the foreseeable future eventually TV audiences will get tried of it and stop paying subscriptions, meaning loss of  money to the game. Football needs competition to survive unfortunately in Scotland, that competition normally means Rangers and Celtic.
