From Am Baillie site
The Mound railway station, late 1950s.
Located on the Far North Line between #Rogart and #Golspie, the Mound was also the junction for the #Dornoch Light Railway. The station closed to passenger traffic in 1960 and to goods traffic in 1964

Is that from Steve Finan’s book? Can’t check it as I’m in Lewis right now. I got a free copy because I supplied the photos from Caley and Stranraer. Quite fancy vol 2 and 3 bút Mrs Mantis has imposed a rule that I have to throw out a book for every one I buy, so 99% of my reading is now on kindle on the iPad.
I don't know if it's from the book. Someone is selling it on ebay!

At a guess, Cnoc Ceislein above Fyrish. Never been up there.
Edit- never noticed the monument till now
That's it. Fairly easy one to do and can be combined with Fyrish

Yes at Mulbuie but came to a sad end but he has a memorial and a great tune written for him by James Scott Skinner.
Interesting life story of someone from humble beginnings
