You can walk from Badrallach to Scoraig. It's about 10 miles.

weeman sent me a message before he went to bed before his expedition tomorrow and he said it was an easy hike up to the one on the second photo so I am sure Mantis has been there. I was just enjoying the gardens an the scenery
Don't think the word easy was mentioned

First pic - Cairngorm granite going by the pillow shaped rocks. By the movie I reckon you're looking over Loch Einich to Braeriach, so you must be on Sgor Gaoith in Glen Feshie... glorious day you had, not even much wind.
Yes, that's it, well done. It was my second attempt as earlier in the year the mist came down about two thirds of the way up and we gave up. In contrast this time the weather was if anything too hot. Great views all round and well worth the effort.

You realise when you are close to one how big they are. I quite fancied it but my wife didn't, so we won't be getting one

In case weeman is thinking I have been away hiking it was my daughter that sent me the photo, I have only been as far as the road goes
If you'd been out hiking, I'd be bringing you grapes.

Was there in April but not sure if it’s been posted before.
I'll be there in two weeks time for a coastal walk

I've not been to the castle but I've been walking nearby earlier this year.

Looks like Shenavall bothy. Is this your own pic? In which case well done on getting there.
I was there in April 1988 and I regret that I'll never make it back now. My knees were like jelly carrying about 40lbs in.Here's 3 of us after a 12 1/2 hour day out on 4 Munros. Jim in the middle is 85 this year and Ian on the right died from cancer about 20 years ago.
Yes, It's Shenavall, I was there on Wednesday. Great day out. A few more photos attached. Third one shows that no one has tidied up since 1988 :-))
