  1. Apparently Stephen Robinson has (unsurprisingly) changed the Dons’ stance on the two Alfies and is going to offer them contracts. Surely they will keep them on the books and loan them back out to us next season to see how they perform a level up as would serve all three parties well.
  2. A long time since I left a match so happy. Due to go to Arran next week on holiday and my wife reminded me of how relegation then the Kelty scheme ruined our holiday to Arran two years ago. Thank you to everyone who has turned our club around.
  3. I’d be considerably less anxious if it wasn’t against Hamilton… a litany of bad times against them and to make it worse, they are fighting to stay up next Saturday 😬…. One final performance to see us over the line please boys 🙏
  4. Could I also request that if anyone else knows of a couple of available tickets that I could please buy them. I'd be taking my son so 1 adult and 1 any other category would be fine. My wife wasn't keen on me going as she had something else planned and by the time she said it would be fine, they were all gone. The irony is, this match had been on the calendar all season as it's a ground I've never been to.
  5. Delighted, yes, and well done but more important than progressing in the challenge cup is that to have lost tonight could have been devastating for morale in the league in terms of “we never beat stennie”… now our boys know they can…. Onwards and upwards we (hopefully) continue to go
  6. I’ve been informed by an Aberdeen supporting pal that both Alfies are out of contract in the summer…. So if they are happy being here then surely it’s doable 🤞
  7. Yesterday just wasn’t our day. Yes, we could have been better; nonetheless, they were well organised and surprisingly fit and the goalie made some outstanding saves. And yes we’ve had some poor performances/results recently, but this management team and players have also provided us with many great performances/results so please hold off on excoriating them.
  8. Anyone know how Alfie Stewart isn’t cup tied?…I’m thinking either it resets after the group stage or (surely not) there’s been an “admin error” and a potentially record result will get chalked off as we get booted out
  9. Sterner tests to come surely but can only beat what’s in front of us and we have done so impressively thus far Not often pre-season optimism stretches to three matches…and the aforementioned players still to come back…not felt this good about football for a long time…thank you Alan Savage and management and players for getting everything so sorted from the mess we were in
  10. Right enough…. Indeed that was equally a joyful watch and a false dawn
  11. Am I correct in remembering that’s the first time we’ve picked up 3 points since being a goal down since Queen’s Park last December? Either way, domineering second half performance…. On the bus back from Aberdeen feeling more positive than longer than I care to think
  12. Sizeable turnout today and vocal for large parts. It’s what was needed to reaffirm to the players we’re behind them and to confirm to prospective buyers we’re a solid investment. Lengthy and solid clapping the troops off the field at the end in spite of the result was a nice touch of solidarity and support.
  13. I mind someone commented a while back that surely there’s a rich American somewhere who can trace their roots back to the clearances… well maybe this is they… Don’t want to appear hard to please but I’m going to have nightmares tonight about being turned into a Scottish Wrexham… I just want a club that supports and represents the area
  14. Another dereliction of duty to add to the list.
  15. On top of all the incompetent, ignorant and disrespectful acts committed by the custodians of our club , they leave us hanging and anxious about the future of our club at a time we should be carefree and looking forward to Scotland at the euros. I’m trying to focus on Scotland but my mind is continually wandering back to whether I have a team to come back to. Thank you to the board, you’re ruining this for me as well.
