  1. I Remember how much we have improved and don't think an inquest is required, it was good season by Terry and his team. :clapoverhead:  I was unhappy  with today's result but not with our season. Finishing  in the top six for the first time is a huge plus, remember how often we have just missed that. Most importantly we still have 'them' in our shadow. :nanananana:   It also leaves us with the core of a descent team and a realistic goal of a European place next time up. Knowing our management team as we do I am full of confidence for the future.

Overall then our best season yet and something left to aim for next season.  :ictscarf:  :notworthy:

  2. Excellent singing from the guys in the North Stand tonight, the best I have heard at home .. It brought the team their best spell during the second half. The singing section truly were the twelfth man tonight.

  3. If we see ourselves as a top 8 team then this could be an income generator for us. Added bonus would be only playing C*unt(y) twice at most. Having said that I am not in favour of this and would prefer a larger, 20 team 38 game, SPL with two relegated each year.  A 24 team 46 game SPL 2 two promotion and three relegation places each year. 3 regional leagues east, west and northern, and all is sorted.

  4. Just for the record I along with 4 others have voted 1,500+ but this was just for the crack. How can you take the poll seriously as all you are asking for is an opinion and not actual facts. Still the thread was fairly interesting.

  5. I have a ticket for the main stand for the game and will not be able to use it due to working away Wednesday and Thursday night . Anyone want the ticket?

I may have the same problem but will see what I can reschedule.

If you have no takers from the regular posters on this site you should be able to get a refund.

hello I couldnt make it today but can make it on wednesday. I have sent yo a PM. I would be very grateful for a ticket.

Unfortunately Jaggy is now unable to attend the game so the ticket is still available.

No unless ticket office is open today I can't even make it to the stadium during opening hours. So ticket free to a good home.

  7. Worst performance I have watched all season. Johnny Hayes worked hard but not fit and hooked in second half. Lots of long balls up to Rooney but as usuall way too high. Duff what can I say duff by name and duff passer by nature. We had one or two very good chances but no one wasw up to putting them in. For most of the game we were second to everything with DU sweeping forward in numbers and somehow they seem to be able to pass the ball to each other with ease, a trick that for most of the game we could not master. Foran got man of the match but in fairness it could have gone to any one of five DU players. The only good news is that there are two worse teams than ours in the SPL. I predict tenth place unless there is a massive change. Heaven knows how we would be looking in a ten team SPL, with this sort of performance we will all have sore necks looking up at teams above us.

  8. Terrible display by us yesterday. Hibs were very busy about the park and their two goals in the second half were both well taken. I couldn't see a goal coming in the first half from either team and it was significant that both second half goals were long range efforts.

Our central defence worked hard, Ross Tokley in particular but full backs were woeful. Midfield were always under pressure and in my opinion, played too deep. Dorran worked hard but was left with too much to do and too far down the park when he got the ball. Passing throughout the team was very poor with Duff in particular playing the ball either directly to Hibs or off for a throw-in, throughout the game. Eric was a total waste of oxygen and should have been hooked in the first five minutes

All in all a poor performance from Inverness. Hibs were not that much better, looking nervous at the start but worked harder and took advantage of our poor passing and all the space we left them.

Probably a one goal win would have been a better reflection on the efforts and abilities of both teams. It was very disappointing to see the number of Inverness supporters who walked out after the second goal.

Great to see such a full house though and for the first time this year we heard the Hibs supporters singing. Of course they had something to sing about.
