  1. Do you remember your prediction of taking 12 points of County this season?

As my previous thread on this subject appears to have been removed, I assume it touched a raw nerve with some people. Censorship, on the basis that you don't like the subject, goes against what these forums are supposed to be about. Very disappointing! but I'll get over it, about the same time you shower get over being himped by the better team, again!!!!!!!!!!!! I've now left the building so feel free to be abusive and you have my permission to close this thread.
  3. It doesn't really matter what was thrown, the fact that missiles were being thrown is disgusting and anyone who knows the idiots concerned should pass their details to the club or the police, or both. It is always the minority that bring discredit on a football club and they should be not be tolerated.
  4. Because you can't handle playing against a big team?
  5. Is there any truth in the rumour that ICT asked to be designated as the away team because of the home record?
  6. Another six months of this and I may well be. Would they want such a fickle individual?
  7. My arse :018: Given the choice I would certainly plump for your arse ahead of Butcher. Why?
  8. Bridge and castle is a County fan so ignore him, he's only looking for a bite!
  9. Why don't you say what you really mean?
  10. You may need to either get some or up your medication.
  11. I asume that you took the time to read all my posts? If not, where do you get the idea I am defending anyone? I have just pointed out that regardless of whether it is classed as banter or not, some chants can be perceived as being racist. It is no different from the carry on over the famine song, just not on the same scale.
  12. Exactly. I once stood for a whole game at Kilmarnock and on the other hand have been told by a Dundee United steward twice during a game that I wasn't sitting on my seat in the correct fashion. The whole standing issue is a joke. You can stand before, stand at half time, stand when prompted by the club to celebrate/commerate something, but if you should jump up to celebrate a goal then the safety of the whole stadium is compromised. What bollocks. Go to Germany, where you can stand for a whole game with a pint in one hand and a fag in the other, without civilisation seemingly crumbling. From the "abuse" point of view the club supporting newbies need to get out more. Does not everybody support the club? I would have thought that in a time where the attendance is dropping that you would welcome any new fans, silly me!
  13. The law applies to the abusive chanting, gypos etc, standing in a seated area breaks a club rule. As for why they did nothing, I don't know, I wasn't there.
  14. It makes a refreshing change for someone to disagree with a post but to do so in a polite manner. My point wasn't about the swearing, although that is also covered in the rules, and I totally agree with your point about players/managers. I also agree that there is a need for every fan to be treated the same, regardless of where they sit, and it is this lack of consistency that is causing the problem.
  15. Thank you, what has that got to do with the topic? This thread has been dedicated to those poor souls who feel hard done by when they are asked to sit down and stop being abusive, the club rules are quite clear so if you don't like having to abide by them, and it is causing you so much inner turmoil, you should find a hobby that you will enjoy. There is no grey area in the law, regardless if you think it's only football banter, so I don't think the club should be vilified for being law abiding. If the club were to be fined because of abusive chants, would that make you feel better?
  16. Here's a radical thought, why not abide by the rules? By buying your ticket to attend a match you agree to behave in a manner that doesn't infringe any of the club's rules, it's not difficult. pass the sweeties... You'll have to elaborate

  18. Is it not the case that the chants are upsetting the neighbours? as there is a large travelling community not that far from the ground.
