Matchday Thread: Dundee Utd -V- ICT
Hi guys, Llongyfarchadau mawr - which means many congratulations on the big win ! I was pleased to see my Scottish team do so well in the SPL after the result against Celtic. Is there anywhere to see highlights of the game online?

First visit from Wales
Well guys - I made it to Inverness on Saturday - but so did the frost ! I've posted the story of the day in the QOS game thread. But just to say here that we had a great welcome from a couple of very kind ladies from the club - and got treated to a quick tour of the stadium. All my family became fans as a result of this ! And I'll do my best to get back up to see Caley Thistle sometime. All the best for the rest of the season - I'll be keeping a close eye on your results. See you soon ! Welsh Ref ps - Immortal Howden Ender - llongyfarchiadau !! How come your Welsh is so bendigedig ?!

QOS- GAME OFF
Some of you may remember that this was the game that I was hoping to see - having travelled from Wales [via a bit of skiing in the Cairngorms!]. So you can imagine how terrible I felt as I heard the bad news on Radio Scotland as I drove up towards Inverness. But I carried on with the family and made it to the stadium - and to the shop before it closed to buy a programme and a mug - unfortunately the mugs had all been sold - but the very kind lady in the shop gave me a used mug so that I could have a memory of our visit. While I was there I also met a man and his son who'd travelled up from London to see the game too !! As I made my way back to the car - I mentioned that we'd come from Wales for the match and another very kind lady from the club gave my family and I a quick tour of the stadium - which even my wife and daughter enjoyed immensely ! We're all fans of ICT after that !! And I'll do my best to try and come back sometime in the future ! We were there at about 1pm - and as we were looking at the pitch - the sun was shining and the pitch looked perfect apart from about 8 yards under the shadow of the stand to the left of the main stand. I obviously didn't get to inspect the pitch properly so I cannot say how hard the ground was - but it was disappointing to say the least. For your information - my family and I decided to travel back via Loch Ness and Glen Coe - and stayed the night in Dumfries. On Sunday morning we went to see Palmerston - but it was not a patch on your stadium !! Thanks for the "warm" welcome from 5 new Caley Thistle fans !! Diolch yn fawr ! Welsh Ref, Pontypridd, Wales.

First visit from Wales
I'm sure I'll feel at home in the middle of the cold and the sheep ! I can hear the song already - but it's not the anthem - it's the hymn "Guide me O thou great Jehova" and the Caleythistle part would fit perfectly into the "Bread of Heaven, Bread of Heaven - feed me now and evermore" bit - and who knows after our visit I may well become a Caleythistle fan for evermore?!

First visit from Wales
Welsh refs are the best, of course. And we're consistent - we keep BOTH eyes closed !! But I'm sure if we gave all the decisions to CaleyThistle not too many people would complain.

First visit from Wales
Thanks guys, I'm a fogey of 46 now ! so maybe the Main stand sounds good - and as a ref/asst it'll be good to judge the offsides myself! WelshRef

First visit from Wales
Shwmai fy nghefndrid Celtaidd ! Hello to my Celtic cousins !! I'm hoping to bring my family up to ski in the Cairngorms for half-term and as I'm a referee and assistant in the Welsh League I'd love to see a Scottish League match. I've seen that you have a match v QofS on Sat Feb 20 k.o 3pm - do you think this is a good match to see ? [i know it's a little further North - but as we're so close I'd love to come to Inverness] If we do come - and if the weather's ok by then?!? - what tickets would you recommend? I can see the different prices - but where is the family stand? [i can't find a map of the ground - or am I missing something obvious?] :P Diolch/Thanks WelshRef
