I'll be there, even if I can't bear to actually watch

From The Guardian:
The Highland club's director of football, Graeme Bennett, spoke with Lennon's representative, Martin Reilly, regarding his strong interest in the 36-year-old and it is believed the former Northern Ireland international would have been willing to talk to Inverness officials if a financial package even approaching what he currently earns was on offer. Is this just more media spin? Impossible to know any more. I can only hope that when Brewster is unveiled that the Board make a comment about who was actually considered, who was actually interested, and the reasons why it looks (to the fans) as if there was a shortlist of one.
Wish I was going to the game, but unfortunately aren't :009:

Was there any mention at the meeting of Neil Lennon?
-
I'd buy Gretna and ensure they would relegate.
-
The annoying thing about the BBC is that they change their reports. I went to look again at one of the first Warnock mentions which I had emailed to a friend in disbelief, and the article was totally different.

Your prophecy that a wrinkled old grey man would be seen in the mist at TCS having come true, can you now rub your magic right buttock and foretell when he will leave again?

In the big business world Tullochs, with all due respect is a small company that operates on a local bases. I am talking about huge companies or individuals with very big money to spend.
No thank you very much. I may be unhappy with Brewster's reappointment, and utterly baffled by the actions of the Board, but that doesn't mean I want mad Russians or corrupt ex-politicians running my club.
-
I have absolutely no doubt John Terry is being considered, although we'll get someone from Ardersier Primary School's under 6's B Team instead.
-
Yngwie, do you think the board actually spoke to Warnock? Or just considered him (in order to think up excuses not to speak to him)?
This doesn't seem very clear.
-
The Warnock thing is the most baffling. And they talk about "baggage" whilst approaching Lennon??? That is just too weird to comprehend.
-
Most of us are perfectly aware of the limitations of our own club. That doesn't mean we shouldn't consider a manager with proven experience over your cast-off OAP.
-
No one wants him to fail we are scared he will fail
Precisely. I will delighted to be proved completely wrong.
As I won't be at TCS this Saturday, please pass on a
:021: One Donald Park :021:
and especially
:021: One Charlie Christie :021:
from me, and let's hope we thrash United.

[eh...slightly disappointed he coudn't make the game tomorrow though. Bottle job? Imagine if we were scheduled to play Aberdeen, then!Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood has told the 40-year-old forward he will be involved at Easter Road against Hibernian tomorrow even if he secures a return to the Highlanders following his meeting today.
-
What I dont think ict fans appreciate is that he loved his time at the club and living in Inverness
Yeah, I can still remember him saying how much he loved us and had no intention of leaving us while he rushed to get his jacket.

Think my eyes must have automatically filtered this thread out :010:
FFS
Looks like there was never any choice to start with.
-
This must be what waiting in Death Row feels like :007:
As the board obviously don't want Warnock, we can just pray for Coyle.
-
Maybe it's Calderwood we should be sending petitions to :001:
-
Just remember Brew will be here for only a season
You think the board will sack him once we're relegated? Too late by then :019:
-
At the Motherwell game I actually didn't mind so much that we lost, because we played interesting passing football and I thought that if that continued we would have no worries about the rest of the season. No to hoofball!!!!!

Maimie, you just have to click on "Post New Poll", next to "New Topic" on the main menu.
First three bits, same as normal:

Next bits:
Put in your question
Question: Should Brewster return?
Fill in as many options as you have answers
Option 1: No
Option 2: No way
Option 3: I'll burn in **** first
Then tick the other bits as you see fit.
Hope this helps!

Does anyone know anything about Pat Fenlon?
Never heard of him!!
I have him ahead of Malpas, Robertson & Brewster in my list though :015:
:rotflmao:

I did toy with the idea of including other names linked to the job but there were so many I just went for the 2 that seem to have been mentioned the most.
I prefer the "An overwhelming number of fans voted for Warnock over Brewster" aspect of only two names :001:
Our goalkeeper cover problem to be resolved ?

I thought Mikey was MOM at Motherwell. No complaints about him at all in the away games.
