  1. Comes in with similar credentials as billy did. Not scored many but has done it on a big stage down south (Billy scored at anfield, and storey got a double against villa a couple seasons ago). definitely worth a shot and hope he does well. 9 goals in 66 games isn't great but billy wasn't much better when he joined (16 in 84).

  2. Thought we played well and held them to only having 1 real chance when they hit the post. Other than that they score a free kick and boom its 1-0 not much you can do about it.

Didn't rate Tansey in the advanced role. Think he's wasted there much better at dropping off and picking passes, And with his range of passing that's what we should be doing putting someone like Christie in the hole, as he finds pockets of space between the lines a lot better than Greg did last night. Not saying Greg was poor just felt we didn't play to his strengths.

Wedderburn I'm not too sure of. Could be a mighty frustrating player I thought he looked like a centre half playing in midfield. Draper wasn't good enough. A below or performance from him Imo. He's capable of much better and I think suffered playing alongside wedderburn.

The back 4 was pretty makeshift but solid. Ravens not fully fit so couldn't start him so meekings had to cover at right back, But warren and Devine were fine in there. Williams did ok for me aswell but he's at his best in centre midfield for me.

lopez did well probably not a lone striker but could be a good number 10. And Aaron and Ryan where our biggest goal threats from wide areas Doran worked the keeper well in the second half but should've done better with the other two he had one straight at the keeper in the first half and another wide in the second half.

other than that subs came too late for me Roberts and Foran couldn't get into the game.

  3. Basically everything that happened in that game. Drapers pen, Hamills faces, Tanseys strike, But nothing will top Nicks equalizer for me, I nearly ended up on the pitch to play the extra time, and to this day I have no idea how I got down there so quick.

  4. The worst part about losing to that mob is that all the Inverness based stay at home sevco fans will be giving it big licks tomorrow, in work, and schools everywhere.

In saying that. I watched the game on a stream. (couldn't make it as i was working.) and we were dreadful. Just didn't show up at all. Sat too deep. Didn't keep the ball well enough, and we just didn't penetrate!

  5. Who stole what now?

My Short term memories not great.

Clearly  Very good. Your term stolen. Is a strange though. Personally i thought the council did the right thing in giving us the park to play our home games at and progress further through the junior ranks to not only help us, but to help local football in Inverness. Xx

  6. I dislike Celtic but take no pleasure in their dismissal from the Champions League.

It reflects poorly on Scottish football - our stock is really low on the continent. It also affects our UEFA co-efficient which could directly impact on ICT further down the line.

It's also cost ICT a reputed £100,000 tonight.

We'll win the league and it'll be fine
  7. They won 4-1 an o.g, trialist scored a couple and i think Callum ferguson got one. Not entirely sure tbh. The Trialist might've got 3 but i forget. We scored a pen to make it 1-1 15 to 20 minutes in. Then ict made it 2-1 before half time then pushed on i the second half to make it 4-1. Good game of football though. Boths teams playing some nice stuff. Inverness city's number 2 tonight is worth a look at if you ask me

    Was that you!!??

Did you lose count of the score, like!? I didn't know this was on either. Was it at the Bught?

Could've been 5 for all i know tbh. My Short term memories not great.

  9. As I said in the Dundee match thread that 4-2-3-1 doesn't really suit the possession style of play and would much rather see two upfront rather than just one which in theory would provide more service to Billy Mckay. I do like Yogi's style of play in general. It's a good idea but I feel it needs to be more quick paced passes and moving the ball forward rather than side ways or backwards.

    My team would be:

                                                                  Brill

                                        Meekings          Warren             Shinnie

                             Watkins                  Draper  Tansey                    Williams

                                                                 Doran

                                                       Christie       Mckay

Subs: Esson, Raven, Tremarco, Vincent, Horner, Polworth, Ross,

Im in the same boat with the 3-5-2 just a few subtle changes for me.

                                                                    Brill

                                        Meekings          Warren             Tremarco

                             Watkins                  Draper  Polworth                    Shinnie

                                                                 Tansey

                                                       Christie       Mckay

Subs: Esson, Raven, Williams, Vincent, Horner, Doran, Ross,

  10. An unsellfish striker to do the work for billy? Tell you what bring back Tade...

Are we all forgetting that Foran can play up front too? Id suggest that would be his role this season with the likes of Tansey, Draper, Polworth, Williams, Vincent, and potentially Horner, all able to play centre midfeild all be it different roles in there.

Foran, Billy, Ferguson as our strikers with Christie able to play just off the front in the 10 role.  Thats 4 decent options, is a fifth being greedy?

This obbsession with a tall strikers odd to say the least. A striker doesnt need to be tall to hold the ball up. billy does it brilliantly when its at his feet, and if we play the ball on the deck (which we should be doing) theres no need for a 6 foot something striker.

Id much rather have a small striker that can play than a tall striker whos only able to head and chest the ball.
