From what I believe there isnt many juniors who want to make the step up at all. The irony in that is teams such as Auchenleck, Linlithgow, Bo'ness and Lochee UTD are not only far superior than most semi pro clubs but also they have a better quality of grounds/pitches than some 3rd division clubs.
Looking through nonleaguescotland.co.uk last night, (a site which has pics of all semi-pro and junior teams grounds in scotland) there are only a handful of EoS clubs with adequate ground facilities. Preston Athletic, Gretna2008 and Spartans have for sure got the facilities to step up. However the likes of Gala and Whitehill would need too upgrade their grounds with a new stand/concrete terrace etc.
The SoS league however is mince, and pretty much all clubs play on parks like the bught!

There won't be a 'new' Highland league, It will just be the champions of the current set up who will play the Lowland league champs in a play off. The winner of that game will automatically get promoted. As far as I'm aware the reason the Lowland league will only have 10 teams to begin with is because a lot of the semi-pro teams down in the central belt don't have the adequate ground facilities to make the jump to the SPFL.

So County will have to wear their AWAY kit, at HOME? HAA pmsl. Something else to seethe about :)

Not a fan of the shoulder bits, apart from that it's pretty decent! However, what we going to wear for county away? All black will clash with C*untys all navy! Will the last seasons away become a 3rd strip?
-
Personally I think its class, far nicer than how it was. Good job by whoever decided to paint it!
-
I used to slate Errea but to be fair, they really have upped their game in recent seasons and have produced some classy shirts! Far nicer than the generic sh*te that addidas, nike, puma etc have been churning out.
However I really don't care what the new shirt looks like, aslong as it has an ICTFC badge I'll be buying it!

Rasczak I hope you're right! I dig those hooped socks :D

I got a feeling the template I thought is going to be wrong lol. You could be right Karl it probably is a new template
-
^ Haha all the boys covered in red/blue paint you mean :P
-
Going by the sneak previews. I think it will be this template...
A black body, with red stripes (where the white is) and a blue collar

New Crystal Palace kits. Stunning!!

Disagree with that caleyboy. People tend to associate a team with their home colours, so if ICT were just all blue like Caledonian it would no doubt (and rightly so) upset the Thistle brigade.
I personally feel (and I've said this before) the home should be 50% blue and 50% red, preferabbly stripes or halves. And the away should be white and black like the current away. This way all colours of the previous two clubs are being used but in a way that is unique to ICT!!

Would take magowan from midden in a heartbeat! There are a few others I would like but probably couldn't afford them!

I can exclusively reveal the new away strip.
I can't see this causing any issues at all.
A blue and red version of this for next seasons home. Thank you!!

Please let's not contaminate this thread by introducing the myth of ' ex Jaggies' or Caley rebels heading over the Kessock Firth in their hoards to swell the coffers at Ross County.
Anyway, there is no such thing as an ex Jaggie. Once a Jaggie always a Jaggie
All due respect Kingsmills, I know of atleast 10 people who were ex-Thistle fans who now follow C*unty, and there's plenty more who I don't know. One of them told me that "the idea of the merger wasn't a problem, it was the fact the new team would play in blue". So instead he went to County who play in NAVY BLUE! TIT!!

Inverness has had a large influx of central-belt/English origin (my family). A lot of these people already support a team (my dad supports Morton and I know a family of Dundee fans). But like me, the younger new generation of Invernessians are growing up with ICT as their home club. And like I said in another thread, this will eventually lead to a new, vibrant support.
I'm not surprised by Ross Countys attendance figures. Like CaleyD said, a lot of it is to do with novelty factor. Also they are called ross county because they gain their support from all over Ross-shire. If you added the populations of Dingwall, Fortrose, Alness, Tain, Maryborough, Beauly etc it would easily come to c.60,000. Not to mention a large number of deluded invernessians, or more specifically 'ex-jaggies' support county

anyone got video of fans in the away end i hear you on sky but be good to see a phone video of the madness from within

I think its great we get under his skin so much :)

Watching the match on the telly down here, I could not believe what a disgrace that County pitch was, the SPL should fine them for bringing the league into disrepute. I think we probably just ran out of puff with a small squad, but what a brilliant season its been, can't wait for the fixtures to come out so I can plan my next visit.
Alright Eagle! I'm proper buzzing for next monday when the mighty London ICT (palace) go to wembley. Seeing our blue and red brothers get to the prem would sort of make up for yesterdays disapointment. You going?

Has derek adams hacked into Kingsmills account? Man alive what a seething mess...

I say thanks to our vocal support!
I really believe our 'vocal' fans have come of age this season. All the derby home games were terrific. The derby away games were phenomenal, and yesterday was off the richter scale! I stayed behind with about 200 others for 40mins yesterday, the noise and passion was unreal! But the atmosphere at other home games has been improving also, if not quite at the same level. I absolutely love the european 'ultra' songs that have become popular in recent weeks. I do believe these new, catchy and arguably easier to learn songs have helped the noise increase.
In the P&J today,ICT fan David MacIver said "its great to hear so many youngsters singing for Inverness, the merger seems so far away now". Yesterday in the singing section I was one of the oldest there at 24 yrs old. I don't remember the pre-merger days at all. I'm starting to believe the further we get away from the merger, and as the 'new' generation of Invernessian fans get older, our problems with not having a passionate, loyal and vocal support will be a thing of the past!

If we also get the wendy house to sit in, is there any chance that someone sitting there could film the ICT fans.
The Police? :P
Where do the ICT support originate from?
