  1. I would like to assume it's parked up at the stadium.

Makes a nice change, we must be one if the first clubs to have our new kit available.

Kicking onto where, we won a cup and reached 3rd in the league. The season after the crowds never saw a boost in numbers suggesting no matter how successful the team is we cant entice more than the 3k hardcore we have. Where from there could we go - we did reach the cup QF the following season (last year) but it was always going to be a tough ask to retain it although had we played better in either game against Hibs then we would have probably made the final. Is there really an expectation that we should be challenging for silverware and fighting for the league title while having the 2nd smallest busget and probably 2nd or 3rd smallest crowds?

Its not a prudent, responsible board that people on here seem to want, its a rich beneficiary a-la Gretna, Livi, Dundee, Hearts but lets all see how those fairy stories turned out in the end. There have been errors in judgement by the board and perhaps mistakes in key recruitment however does that demonstrate incompetence and wholesale change being required - if anything the board have shown in the past what could be achieved and as with any walk of life if you make a mistake you learn from it and should come back stronger.

Some fans just have high unrealistic expectations of where the club should be, my issue with the board is a lack of communication and not validating the decision to remain with Foran. We need to see a long term strategy for youth development and stabilizing the club in the community. None of these need the board sacked IMO.

    We lost Miles Storey

Pretty irrelevant now but taking 15,000? fans down to Glasgow and winning a cup would have been a key time to encourage brand new fans to come along to the stadium. Even if it was just £10 off of the cost of a match ticket during the first two months of the season for producing a ticket stub for the cup final and/or Fc Astra away, or an additional discount of £50 for NEW adult season tickets holders producing one of the above ticket stubs, would have helped.

Great idea having the players on the pitch with 100 kids in new football tops though.

As for crowd numbers there was a like for like boost relating to opposition but it tailed off with lack of wins in the season after the final.

  3. Dods wouldn't be a bad pick from finishing in 4 th place and getting promoted on penalties but I think Paul Hartley did well with Alloa at the same stage of his career and still didn't get the job.

Our current manager got 3 wins from the last 5 and looks like we would have stayed up if we just had a few more games to play, if the biggest clubs will be Falkirk, ICT and Hamilton? then winning the league is possible and if not then there's another chance via the playoffs.

We have no control over what happens at New Douglas Park on Saturday but we can control what happens at Inverness. We need every advantage we can muster including a huge home crowd. The board haven't done much to help this season but one thing they can now do is reduce entry to a fiver for adults and free entry for concessions to make sure that the home stands are packed.

Will cost us about thirty grand but that pales into insignificance compared to the over a million pounds we will lose every single season we are out of the Premiership.

    Reluctantly I would say no.

I want warriors in the stands not cheap skates.

  5. Quite simple, 37 points and let the rest take care of itself.

Being a huge 7 points behind the rest, I would imagine there was zero pressure on the team.

Now there's a huge 4 points behind the next team they may as well play the same way as last Saturday.

  6. I think we would need serious backers first supplemented by fans input.

Fans alone wouldn't be enough unless a few hundred fans want to contribute a few thousand year on year.

CaleyD would probably state the pros and cons as to who could/ should be involved.

  7. Should be an entertaining game,  Im kind of hoping that County think they are in a really good place just now and overlook all of their weaker areas on the pitch.

If not we'll just have to beat them without their help.

Personally,I think it's a great appointment..well respected coach & good backup for RF. I've never been convinced by BR as assistant manager & MM is someone that RF knows well & worked with before. Wouldn't be suprised to see MM as assistant to RF next season, whatever happens, particularly if BR is out of contract end of this season. Also, MM will hopefully help tighten up the defence-would help if we didn't keep losing soft goals! Not a 'magic bullet' but a shrewd appointment.

Think we need to back the team just niw, as opposed to torchlight protests - although the concerns/complaints are legitimate ones..

I know what your saying, I would rather we put protests to one side but no point splitting the young and not so young at this stage of the season.
