  1. From the start of our highlights to the end of the chatter about our game, it was about 3 minutes and not a single mentioned of anything St Johnstone, it's not like there wasn't anything to talk about!

Don't mind Steven Thompson or Pat Nevin myself but his defense of Goodwin was clearly out of some sort of duty to his team mate as Goodwin's first challenge was really bad, Goodwin has a bad rep growing all the time. County had the last laugh on him i guess as he was palmed off like a daisy before their second.

  2. Has anyone been down to the stadium yet? Can you pick where you want to sit if you go via there or will literally nowhere allow you to do that? I might take a drive over when the gf gets in, that ticketline are still having problems with who can purchase today, they have it down that i bought tickets for the Hearts game but they still cant sell until they sort something out.

  3. Thought we were very good at times and should have won by a comfortable scoreline, we might only have had 6 on target but that doesn't mean every shot off target amounted to nothing. 23 attempts just shows the amount of attacking we did. There were other times where the game looked quite scrappy though with passes going amiss regularly, mainly from Hearts but definitely a few from our lads. Tansey should have scored another belter, some strike but unfortunately a great save from MacDonald who had a really good game. Personally don't think i can single out anyone for a bad game on Saturday, we just couldn't get that elusive goal to get the 3 points but on another day we could have won by 3 or 4. Lets hope the scoring boots are on on Tuesday night.

  4. Have a gut feeling i will miss the final, its only just over a month away and i'm yet to go to work....can't see it happening, will be gutted after experiencing that semi final rollercoaster. My family plus about 4 or 5 mates will all be going so a crew of 9 or 10 will be heading down from the Fort Bill, will be an amazing day.

  5. A few of my Gers supporting mates think the cup is their's for the taking. Crazy to think that if Raith overcome St J, they could potentially make the final without having played a top league team if the draw goes their way but it is all if's and but's. Quite happy with a home time against Dundee United though, should be a good game.

  6. Have to disagree with Alan. I don't know about anyone else but if i am not working offshore i will be trying to get as many mates(most of which have come to games before, some not) as possible to come with me to the final and my brother will be doing the same. Would that be a bad thing? It's not like there won't be room and they will be there supporting ICT, their affinity starting through me and my brother and who knows, it might even stick. We brought two mates each to the semi who made (almost )  as much noise as us and we will easily make double figures with close mates and family for the final because it is the kind of occasion that will attract the fans that don't normally go. Like PerfICT said above, if even a couple of them start to attend more often then job done. My parents are fans, live 70 miles away in Fort Bill so only make a couple of games a season due to work, cost and convenience. If there is ever an occasion for them to make a special effort then surely this is it? There are of course more hardcore fans out there than them but i resent the gloryhunter tag a bit for anyone that goes that's not included in the 3000.

As for CC's comments, he is right but i agree with the OP in that he maybe could have focused on the positive side which was us bringing along a very healthy crowd imo in the face of a very unhelpful SPFL.

  7. Total legend for what he did and the more you watch, the more impressive it really was from his first touch to staying on his feet then bagging the rebound. See him in the gym quite alot so he does at least get stuck into the weights but couldn't tell you if that's a new thing as i have only been there for 6 months.

  8. Have never experienced anything like Sundays game, to go from a high of taking the lead to such an unbelievable low...then the legend Nick Ross nicking such an unlikely last second goal then finally keeping it together to take it in penalties. I saw us pump Dundee at home the last time we came back up with the pitch invasion, seen us beat Clyde away to go ahead into the last game but missed the 1-3 against Celtic as we were halfway to the first game when it was cancelled, then on holiday for the replay. Easily Sunday for me!

  9. Went through every emotion possible yesterday and was definitely was of the lads who thought it was all over after the unbelievable turn of events as Warren went and them going in front. Couldn't believe what i was seeing. I did say to my bro that Warren will need to watch himself as he was giving away a few fouls after his early yellow but the yellow he got to go off...all i can say is wtf was that referee seeing! Meekings straight red was no more than a yellow. It was obviously out of frustration but never a red card when you take into consideration the players positions on the pitch and the challenge itself never asking for the red. Ross's equalizer is one of those moments you will never forget though, it was amazing and against all odds. Then came extra time and all i can say is that we proved that it was us that should be in the final, Hearts really failed to step up and equally showed they didn't deserve anything. Some game lads, some day i will never forget.

  10. Yogi obviously made the call that the team wouldn't change from last week as the performance and result was that good but with Draper, Watkins and Vincent all back and on the bench it was the wrong one. Thought Draper would have been back in at the very least and Tremarco benched as Shinnie moves to left back.

  11. Thought we were worth the 3 points by a country mile today when the score could and should have been even more. Cant wait to see Williams goal as i managed to miss it with no replays on my stream. Shinnie was outstanding today, the lad is class and came so close to bagging a goal he would have deserved. Defense were immense too, they didn't give Aberdeen a sniff and all i can remember is a couple of scrambles inside our box where they may have nicked something and there was Floods great volley. Just what the doctor ordered to kick start our euro push.
