Apologies if this has been covered before, but can anyone explain why we don't get coverage of EVERY game? There are Caley fans far and wide, and if the English leagues can cover all games even down to the conference through online commentary, how come we can't hear the 2nd placed team in the SPL ???
Could this be something that Caleyjags TV or the club could cover? Real-time commentary is just as, if not more important than highlights.

Watkins really seems to have divided opinion following yesterday. His workrate his 2nd to none and he did a lot of effective work tracking back but he possesses almost no skill and im yet to see him convincingly beat a man on the wing.
He's obviously doing the business if we have been praised for 'fast attacking football on the break' for the past 4 games - you can't just do this down one side!
Agree though that we need to use his pace to get behind the defence more. Tremarco said in his interview that the defensive work of the midfield made the job of the back 4 much easier.

Seems like the wingers were asked to do more defensive work as part of the game plan, in the context of the 4-0 defeat. Looking forward to seeing Watkins do what he does best next week - running at the defence and using his pace.

All about the result today, burying the hoodo against St. J. Great defence and another clean sheet, and good balance to the side. Poor second half - but 4 wins on the spin very welcome

Fantastic news! Thanks Richie - well done Kenny Cameron !!

Yes - second that. One of the things I've noticed in recent games is how well he and Watkins work together. Watkins covering allows Shinnie to push forward to the box with devastating effect. As a pair, they are a real handful for any left-sided defence, as the Hibs game showed when they were slicing through time and again like a knife through butter. So I'm not sure I would alter the balance of the team and put Shinnie back to left back.

Well done KC, top man!

Shiels interview is quite an eye opener. Would have no problem if that duo were given the job to take us to the next level.
What is the next level for us?

I think we can bring this thread to a conclusion by summarising as follows - Butcher and Malpas did very good things for this club, but could have handled their departure much, much better.....
On the other hand, there are only another 74 posts to the 1k - keep going!

OK with this - we have played some of our best football at Easter Rd. last week; suits our wide fast counter-attacking play.
We should be able to rip it up in Feb.....

Well done Deano - top man!

There is important work to be done keeping our superb squad together. Hopefully there will be anti-poaching agreements in place, but I hope some of the compo goes to secure our players.

Yeah - bad decision. But money talks and bullshit walks.
TB should be remembered for the right reasons - not least making ICT the fittest team in the league
-
To be fair, Hibs were very good at passing sideways

Terry won't go mid-season - he's an honourable man.
As the bard says:
'Who steals my purse steals trash;
'tis something, nothing; 'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands;
But he that filches from me my good name
Robs me of that which not enriches him,
And makes me poor indeed.'

Maybe TB should put out a press release that he will go with whichever club wins on Saturday....that would ramp up the pressure a bit!

Radio coverage
in Caley Thistle

I would happily pay a subscription for online commentary. Work and distance means I can only get to a handful of games each season. Why can't Moray Firth Radio get involved?
