  1. I know BT now have the rights to all the european games, but their channel doesnt start till august. So its shocking that the BBC hasnt been bothered to see if they can show the game on BBC2/Alba with it being our first venture into european football

  2. Even more lazy journalism. Just noticed on our bbc sports page that it says our next match is the league fixture against motherwell, not the europa game. Where as the other 3 teams involved in europe have their qualifier game as next fixture. Even more proof of central belt bias trying to erase our achievements me thinks???

  3. I think that is a great idea Murphyscot.  There ARE gems to be found in lower leagues in Scotland, Spittal came from Queens Park to Dundee U so must be good lol.

Nah, he's crap, plus he came via sevco haha. Maybe the better example, should be robertson, queens park, to dundee u, then 3 mil transfer to hull and scotland call up

Spittal came directly from Queens Park whereas Charlie Telfer was the one that transferred from Rangers.

Whilst I'm not against the notion of scouting the lower leagues of Scotland, I think we would really need to do our homework with it which would take time.

Sorry ICTRoughi, my mistake. although neither of them seem any good. Or maybe its just dundee u werent that good

And the union thing the PFA are on about arent all lower league, there will be some premiership quality players in there as well

Althought wouldnt touch any of the 11 duffers from sevco. although, maybe taking boyd on a short term contract might not be a bad deal

Striker with european experience? Plus playing for a team that plays for the shirt and not the wage might help him get back to his goal scoring ways

Maybe steve smith, maybe cover for midfield, but both will probably be wanting too much cash

  5. Seeing on BBC Sport that the PFA is setting up a Scheme to help out of contract players find new clubs. says the union will try to match players to clubs and managers and scouts can have a look at them and at end of week have a trial game. Anyone think it would be worth the club sending someone for a look to see whats available? Maybe find a few gems from the lower scottish leagues rather than the english leagues?

  6. I think i was maybe one of the only people that didnt shed a tear or 2 after the game. But i will admit i was having a problem with the celebration cheering, as it seemed as if a frog was stuck in my throat and was making my voice waiver. Think it was the sheer emotion and utter disbelief that we'd actually won. Had to watch the game all over again on sky+ on sunday morning (Was just as bad on the nerves) Just to make sure i wasnt in dreamland :) Even now watching the highlights when vinnie nets the winner it feels like i'm back at hampden again :)

  7. The buzz of the biggest game in our history has slowly been sinking in. Now its at a high not expected to be exceeded until approx 16:45pm tomorrow evening

Not sure if i'm going to be able to sleep tonight, which is going to make tomorrow and even longer day as i have a 5:30am set off time tomorrow as travelling down from Thurso to catch the supporters bus

But i can not wait for the game, seeing our team lift the trophy will be the perfect birthday present from them :)

  8. Graeme Shinnie has been a great servant and is likely to go on to great things but, while I perfectly understand his motives for leaving and joining his home town club for significant increase in salary the fact is he has chosen to leave early in his career and join one our major rivals.

For that reason, while I will cheer his every move and help raise the Hampden rafters if he goes up to lift the cup, I think a special round of applause is a bit much. If anything, a round of applause on 12 minutes for Dean Brill would be more appropriate.

Why not have a minutes applause for one of our stand out players and faithful servants to the club in the years he's been here? I think we would all have preferred him to stay here and help us create more history. Yes, he's going to a rival club, but his reasons for going where more on a personal level and not financial. We should be thanking him for his service and this is one of the best ways we can show our gratitude.

  9. Yeah, was good seeing the young lads getting a run out. Good prospects for the future, and sometimes good being on the end of a thrashing. Make's you want to work hard and improve your game. And i think if you asked anyone mid week about the team. Yes the line up might of been different in regard to the players rested, but we knew it was going to happen. We've got the biggest game in the clubs history next weekend, dont think anyone would have wanted us to risk most of our key/main players today incase of suspensions or injuries. Look at how they were trying to bully ryan today. Yes was a disappointing result, but its not the end of our season and we've next weekend to look forward too :)

  10. Huge congrats to yogi, well deserved and as many have said on here. Shine a bright postive light upon the club

Hopefully will get a bit more respect from the Central belt bias'd media :)

Although, its hilarious thinking about what the conspiracy theorists among the so called fans of one of glasgow's ugly sisters

coming out with as a reason for how we stopped them from getting yet another treble haha

  11. What about Miles Hippolyte?  Just scored a cracker against Hibs there and was quite impressive in the Challenge Cup the other week.  Could he replicate his form in the Premiership like Greg Stewart did at Dundee?  He'd be worth a punt I reckon.

I agree, especially if we lose marley this summer, push wee ryan out to the wing if need be and put him in behind edward, think those 2 could have a good partnership. His goal tonight was a cracker, and apparently he scored a cracker of a free kick against sevco the other week as well

  12. Watching the livi/hibs game. 2 yellow cards already dished out for handballs. Looks like septic has really opened a can of worms here. Although i wonder if the compliance officer will be looking at it tomorrow seeing as how the livi player was inside the penalty box and a free kick was given outside the box??????

  13. Just saw a post from a deluded celtic fan on P&B saying  "Good call by the SFA. Hope justice prevails and he misses the final. No place in football for cheats"

What he obviously doesnt understand is that means celtic should only be able to then field on average about 3 players every week, from their under 5's team if thats the case

Hope the appeal is upheld and josh is cleared to play in the biggest game of ICT's short but glorious existance just to stick it to central belt media bias and the seethe fest thats coming out of so called paradise faithful

  14. Hope the appeal is upheld, but doubtful as the complaint was at the request of one of the ugly sisters. Pretty sure it'll be all thats talked about on sportsound tomorrow night with the typical chic murray commentary of celtic was robbed before, during and after the dundee game. I just hope that celtic get pumped and afterwards hartley dedicates the game to josh.

SFA have a serious lack of balls offering josh a ban he does not deserve, yet there seems to be no indication of a ban for zaluska for wiping out eddie

I'm hoping Kenny and Co will be giving doncaster and his cronies both barrels on thursday when they're down sorting out arrangements for the final

I know its could be detrimental to the lads, but maybe we should not send an away support to the final game of the season at parkhead. Just a big banner indicating our digust at how petty and childish their club and fans are being. Or take the biggest support we've ever had to parkead outside of the league cup and spent the whole 90mins chanting "There's only 1 josh meekings" and "We're going to the final and your not" and make sure we're heard
