  1. Not really wanting to say too much other than well done guys
  2. https://www.facebook.com/falkirkfootballclub/photos/a.829022493774532.1073741834.143589232317865/1007814469228666/?type=1&theater <<<Disaster for Falkirk mascot..... On a lifghter note Falkirks new strip has arrived with CHILDRENS socks lol...frantically trying to get Puma to send the correct ones for Saturday or the team will be wearing ankle socks ....Good Luck ICT ...but not too much :-) https://www.facebook.com/falkirkfootballclub
  3. Hence my previous reference to engaging fewer than a fifth of the population. Falkirk has a population of approx 145,000 in its very small council area ....about 6 miles x 10 miles and we are taking 18 000 on the relatively short trip to Hampden nowhere near 20% of our local population so Inverness is doing really well considering the added cost and time of travel. The crowd at Hampden will still imo be over 40 000 and that does show these ridiculous doom n gloom experts who predicted 20 000 or so to be just jealous Old Firm Fans that hate the fact that 2 wee teams are there and they ARENT. I think the poor uptake of neutral tickets to be more indicative of the partisan nature of football esp in Glasgow...anybody complaining of no football to go to this weekend should be at HAMPDEN in the neutral sections if they truly love football
  4. 4 days to go! Congratulations ICT for reaching your first ever Scottish Cup Final. No matter the result it will be a great day out for all concerned and we will hold ICT in a special place in our history. Of course we hope we win but we will not grudge being beaten if thats the case by the third best team in Scottish football. Good Luck and may the best team on the day win !!!! >>>
  5. There IS actually 10 000 put aside for sponsors and clubs whether they are all taken up is another matter. Remember every Scottish League Team gets an allocation as do the various lower branches affiliated to the SFA . Add into that every William Hills office getting comps for staff that easily covers 10 000. I still forecast a 40 000 plus crowd
  6. Sadly its a Glasgow mentality they have to separate fans. Falkirk will be using the Clockwork and have also hired a nightclub (The Shed) for pre game swallows. It would be great if all the pubs accepted both sets of fans and if the ICT fans could join us in The Shed showing videos of both teams achievements Im sure there would be no trouble ...but try convincing Glaswegians of that. All the best for the 30th
  7. Hi again yes I think the previous post is about right...Im confident the game will be near sell out. Heres a link to our Facebook page to show how we are trying to push tickets ...I think ICT will be getting the Cup next week to take round businesses etc ...I hope so. Hers to the 30th no Old Firm hatred , great atmosphere , family day out but above all a fight for that damn CUP lol. https://www.facebook.com/falkirkfootballclub
  8. Hi Guys , Falkirk Bairn here, Ive been reading your posts about ticket sales etc and some of u are right its not a competition to see who sells most its a competition to see how full BETWEEN US we can get Hampden. I appreciate travel is far more difficult for your lot ...we have an easy journey. But you are representing the Highlands and I hope along with the ICT fans other fans will join you in what could be / will be a great day. At the moment Falkirk have sold 14 000 and have requested another 2 000 .....our allocation like yours is 18 000 for the game. Id guess ICT are on about 8-10 000 which is fantastic . Im sure you will sell many more ....remember we are still over 2 weeks away. Lets show these idiots who reckon the "wee teams" cant fill Hampden ..".its going to be the lowest ever Scottish Cup Final etc etc etc" ....Sponsors allocation and neutrals have 10 000 set aside (about 200 for every team in the Scottish leagues) So between us lets aim to fill the remaining 42 000. I predict a crowd in the region of 44 000 and whether we or you have the most fans is ifrrelevant both sets of supporters will raise the roof.....Looking forward to seeing you there. BTW I dont know if ICT are doing this to promote sales but Falkirk FC have been visiting all the schools and industries in the area with the Scottish Cup to drum up sales. Why dont you get local schools to organise buses filled with £5 ticket kids too. Cheers " A Bairn"
