  1. Wow, the Queen's Park game off topic. I have been banned from it. Lot of folk going on about Aberdeen, I questioned is this still a Caley Thistle forum. Then I got banned!!

Wow, unreal. Don't want to participate in this closed shop boys club anymore That's me finished with this site. Goodbye. 👋

  2. Not the worst or best game I've seen at the stadium for sure.

Good that both teams were giving it a go. Glad we were playing football and not 'hoof it' aimlessly up the park time and again.

    Happy with a point.

Hundreds of players have graduated the Man Utd Academy that have gone on to achieve nothing, and Woods didn't even graduate.

He scored 4 goals in one season, 3 of them in one match (he played 29 matches).

He's been playing amateur football for the last 6 months.

Dodds said we'd only be bringing in players that were better than we had, so we'll see, but I'm not going to be rushing to get the w4nk sock out based on any of the above.

Give the lad a chance please?

An interesting signing especially as we are likely to see a lot of our injured players back in the next 4 weeks. With the two new players and indeed the younger players back from loans,  the future looks optimistic.  Our previously injured returning players will after settling back in be like new signings. February is certainly the time teams need to gear up for good runs. If we can get a bit more out of January our strength will definitely be greater from February onwards.

CETIC1ICT3 I agree. Hopefully as other teams are tiring we'll start firing on all cylinders (at last)!!  Then come May we'll Hopefully be firing Dodds!!

He's never been prolific but works hard however seems like little end product in many games. Not sure our tactics help. Had hopes he would at this level get a few goals.

Aye, he's more likely to get booked than score a goal it seems. He's more of a babysitter keeping an eye on all the youngsters sitting eating their rusks beside him on the bench.

  6. Hopefully that's the prospect of relegation gone.

    R##s C###ty can't say the same.

Looking like the possibility of the return of Highland derbies next season.

Love the Haggis, neeps and tattie pies you get in Dingwall served by the, six fingers on each hand, catering staff 😋

Happy New Year to you Dougal and all CTO posters.
Things have gone quiet since Covid, could be that people have found other things to do but I do think it’s the poor performance on and off the park that has caused posters to loose interest.
I do miss Scarlet although I recall in his last post he was struggling health wise. Charles Bannerman must be too busy with his Courier column. Laurence was a regular that could stir up a few 🤣 .  Even yourself, you don’t often post but throw in a few grenades now and again 😜

bishbashbosh was another useless he changed his handle to No Shin Guards 😳

Nope. Never been bishbashbosh. Wrong again 😀

Worried that we seem to be chasing young loan signings.  We already have plenty of prospects in that department, what we need is some experienced players/leaders on the park to compliment them.

Actually, what we need is a new leader in the dugout, but 🤷‍♂️

As harsh as it sounds I was also thinking this.

The Championship is a tough league, will young loan signings flourish in it? Fit in with Dodds's punt it up the park type s###e football? Probably not.

    Good luck to them though.

Unfortunately, I can't find any positive thoughts at the moment about our team.

Staying up this season will be about the sum of it.

Sadly the most effective protest is happening right now - consistently poor performances on the pitch lead to falling attendances in the stands.

Less income for the club - insufficient funds to keep good players.

It seems to me the solution is a more entertaining match-day experience, a few wins for example, and a team that is entertaining to watch. That'll draw the punters in!

The thing is, we have some very good players, with great individual skills . . . . . . . !

Totally. As it stands I don't feel like going to the Cove game. Sad when I'm a long standing season ticker holder.

Maybe it’s just me but CTO seems extremely quiet?

This could well be down to the way ICT are playing presently I guess and the lack of direction from the board or indeed the silence from the Supporters trust or a combination of all three.

Have ICT fans left CTO for Pie and Bovril I sincerely hope this is not the case I used to enjoy P&B but now it seems to have attracted the moronic fringe of our support. You would be lucky to scrape a brain cell if you merged SandyCromarty and Sophia there really is wiser eating grass!

Im thinking of some of the great posters of yore that you dont see anymore, yer Scarlet Pimple, Dalneigh Caley, sneckboy, top six etc even CaleyD

Thats only a few I can think of off the top of my head but feel free to add any names you would like to see post again there will be a large number I reckon.

    We need them back!!

Best wishes and a happy new year to all or most ICT fans out there from myself

    Dougal

  11. Not long ago Celtic signed one of our players. Aberdeen were often pinching our players also.

No disrespect to Clach, but even they wouldn't want the likes of Carson, Oakley or Boyd.

Wouldn't bet against us being part time and in League One for our 30th anniversary.

  12. You know what, until 2023 I'm not even going to think about ICT and the disaster we currently are.

Will I be sitting in the cold on 2nd January at the Cove game? In all honesty I think I'll give it a miss and 'do something less boring instead' as they used to say on 'Why Don't You?' back in the day!!

    Merry Christmas 🎅
