  1. Just got back from the world cup  :009:

I found the Polish and Czech fans to be the best overall, thousands of them about every day, very noisy and friendly.  Trinidad and Ecuador fans were great with their drums and dancing. South Korea fans were mental at the game (the only game we managed to get tickets for) but never saw them about apart from then.

Have to say even the England fans we met were good, watched the game against T&T on a large screen where 90% of the crowd were English and a group of them asked how long we'd lived in Trinidad when they heard us cheering!

Sweden fans were trying to swap tops with me - I wasn't even wearing a footie top!

Wish I was back there, not the same watching the games in the house, wearing a jumper and drinking tea.

  2. Does anyone know if there's anywhere in Inverness I can buy a a pair of these? I know you can get them cheaper on the net but I'm away on holiday Wednesday morning and I need a pair before then and can't rely on the post. If anyone knows I shall be very happy :003:

  3. I agree. When we were in the first division I used to get a discount on my season ticket if I bought it early enough and I know most other teams have these "early bird" offers. I didn't mind so much the first season we were up as all the arrangements with Pittodrie etc but a bit annoyed we still don't get them. Also I'm going on holiday very soon and need to budget as I'm sure many other people do.

  4. Suppose it depends on why he's lost the dressing room though. Was talking to a United fan and he said some of the players were arguing with Brewster and not turning up for training because they didn't want to do extra training sessions, the United fans would rather see the back of players who aren't willing to put in the effort. The players he brings in will know what to expect and will be hungrier - he's obviously trying to copy our team ethic. :003:

  5. Teletext says we've had a third offer for Rankin rejected.

Caley made a club record £50k for Rankin and manager Charlie Christie said "We thought our bid war realistice but we now turn to others."

Ross County Director of football George Adams said "We want to keep John. We don't foreseee another Inverness bid and we're not looking for one" :007:

  6. I remember reading this complaint before on the old board from some of our own fans. I think it's bad that the club have done nothing about it in over a year. The bad information about tickets has also been a problem for a lot of fans disabled and fully abled. Outwith the top games we aren't filling the ground so you'd think the club would be doing everything they could to get people in but people are missing games purely through being wrongly informed. I really hope that over the summer the club do something about the way information is given to us, the fans, and they come up with a way where people can go to them with complaints and be dealt with satisfactorily. As for the people that walk in front of the disabled section, PLEASE show some consideration for your fellow fans. Have to say though, nothing could ever annoy me that much that I would become a County fan! :003:
