Teaser Paragraph:
ICTFC’s Alan Savage has advised the
Club’s Board of Directors that he is unable to take the helm next season and
thus will be standing down as Chairman.
Alan said “I am sad to be stepping down as I have enjoyed being Chairman of Caley Thistle. However the enormous growth in my company, The Orion Group means that I feel that I cannot devote the time and energy to lead the Club for another season.
My business is very much about the relationships with our clients and this requires me to travel extensively.
There have been many highlights during my time with the Club but one that sticks in my mind is the win over Celtic last December. I wish club every success for the future and will continue to be a keen supporter.” Graeme Bennett, Vice-Chairman and Director of Football said “Alan has been a hands on leader and I have enjoyed working with him immensely. Obviously losing Alan is a major disappointment. The Board will take stock of the situation over the remaining weeks of the season and we will announce a successor in due course.”
