Caley Thistle today announced that six players have been released as Terry Butcher clears space for fresh recruitment for the SPL campaign. Players not being offered new deals are Kyle Allison, Lionel Djebi Zadi, Nauris Bulvitis, Jamie Duff, Robert Eagle and Daniel Stratford.

Terry Lets Six Go Caley Thistle today announced that six players have been released as Terry Butcher clears space for fresh recruitment for the SPL campaign. Players who are out of contract and not being offered new deals are reserve goalkeeper Kyle Allison, left back Lionel Djebi Zadi, central defenders Nauris Bulvitis and Jamie Duff, and midfielders Robert Eagle and Daniel Stratford. Butcher said:"I would like to personally thank every one of these lads for the part they have played in a magnificent season. We need to trim the squad to be able to add to it. I wish these players all the best for their future careers." Latvian player Bulvitis, who arrived from Tranzitis Ventspils, made a total of 27 league and five cup appearances this season. Robert Eagle, from Norwich City , made eight starts while fellow Englishman Daniel Stratford , who came from US side DC United, made eight league appearances. Frenchman Lionel Djebi Zadi made 10 league appearances in the campaign. Fife youngster Kyle Allison's one start was in the League Cup while Inverness lad and former Scotland under-19 cap Jamie Duff missed the whole season through cruciate ligament trouble.
