After a torrid run, Caley Thistle managed to stay unbeaten in the month of May, seeing out the season with two wins and a draw, and no goals conceded. So it's no surprise that CTO's Player of the Month was goalkeeper Ryan Esson. Esson won the award for July, and finished the season as he started - so it's a relief to hear that he has signed a new two year deal which should take his spell at the club to a whopping six seasons.
Ryan finished with 35 votes across the three games, and was voted man of the match against both St. Mirren and Dunfermline. He finished just 3 votes ahead of Ross Tokely, and 9 clear of Greg Tansey (man of the match vs Hibs).
