A war of words seems to be brewing with Queen of the South over the postponement of Saturday's fixture against the Doonhamers.

ICT have issued a press release in response to comments made.
The Statement from the club read as follows......
Caley Thistle are surprised at claims by Queen of the South manager Gordon Chisholm about any delay in switching on the undersoil heating for Saturday's postponed match. Chairman George Fraser said:"I know the heating was switched on at 9am on Friday -- more than 26 hours before the Saturday morning referee's inspection -- because I was there when it happened. "The difficulty was a deep frost of minus seven on Thursday night, deeper than the weather forecasters had predicted. It was certainly in our interests to get the game on as we felt we could boost our promotion chances with a win. The temperature was rising on Saturday morning and we asked the referee to wait an hour to 12.30 and make his final decision then. The Queen of the South manager was strongly against this. "Had they waited the hour, their long trip would not have been wasted, for the surface was improving all the time. I walked across the pitch an hour before kickoff time and it was perfect."
