ict_partIt's Partick Thistle next for ICT this Saturday in the Irn Bru Scottish Division One. ICT have been on good form of late, their last loss coming against Partick at the end of November with ex Aberdeen man Steve Lovell grabbing the winner that day.

ICT will hope to leap into third this Saturday, first they will have to beat Partick and then hope that Queen Of The South lose to Dunfermline at East End Park.

Last week, ICT won 1-0 away to Airdrie with Adam Rooney grabbing the only goal from the penalty spot just before half time. Caley Thistle controlled the game throughout and attacking midfielder Danni Sanchez hit the woodwork three times in the opening forty-five minutes, then deep into the second half Lee Cox had his shot cleared off of the line.

Partick Thistle will be hoping for some change in fortune after last week’s disappointing result against Dunfermline. An awful 4-1 home loss may have dented the confidence of Ian McCall’s side.

Particks last win came at the very beginning of this month, a 1-0 home win against struggling Morton. Their last 5 games in all competitions have resulted in 3 losses, 1 win and a draw. Team News Inverness

ICT were this week boosted by the news that Narius Bulvitis has returned to spend at least the rest of the season with the highland side. ICT haven’t yet made any additions to their squad this transfer window and with the clubs reported lack of funds, additions don’t look likely. But Butcher will be happy that none of his big names have left the club. ICT are still without long term absentee Jamie Duff, with the defender still out with a knee injury. Stuart Golabek may return on Saturday but only as a substitute as his niggling injury still bothering him. Apart from those two, Butcher has no fresh injury worries to cope with. Partick Thistle

Alan Archibald and Paul Paton are going to miss tomorrow's game through suspension but Partick will also be without Paul Cairney and Stephen McKeown because of injury while Simon Donnelly, Partick's second top scorer for the season, will also be unable for selection due to him being unwell. Thistle have been busier than ICT in the transfer window, extending the loan of accomplished striker Steve Lovell, also adding Celtic winger Ryan Conroy, also on loan, and securing the signature of Martin Grehan from Stirling Albion. Previous Meetings

The two sides have met 16 times in competitive competitions with ICT winning 6, losing 8 and drawing twice, the most recent ICT win was in the Alba Challenge Cup this season, with Ryan Esson saving 3 penalties in a nerve-racking penalty shootout. However, Partick have won a league meeting between the sides this season, going 3-0 up in a great 6 minute spell just before half time before ICT nicked to goals in the second half to bring the final score to 3-2. Prediction

ICT have been on good form recently and with Partick looking a bit dodgy at the moment so you don’t know how they will approach the game, whether they will change the system from last week or try something completely different is up to Ian McCall. But due to our form and solid defence of late I will go for a 2-0 win for ICT with Rooney and Foran grabbing our goals.
