Record Breakers
Never had there been a better time for Raith Rovers to break the Caley Jags hoodoo! Inverness, without a win in their last eight games, and Billy Dodds and the management team under fire. A 23 year run of games without a win for Raith Rovers was brought to an end today when Jamie Gullan smashed home from 15 yards with five minutes left. It was harsh on Inverness who dominated for long spells earlier in the game, but it leaves the management with some tough decisions to make.
There will be dancing on the streets of Raith tonight!

Billy Dodds was without MacGregor, Nicolson, Welsh, Duffy and the suspended Lodovica. Robbie Thompson started and Anderson, Devine and Billy Mckay returnrned to the starting XI. Rovers looked to have a strong line-up and were looking to consolidate at the top end of the table.
Inverness dominated the first half with Raith keeper Dabrowski making three or four great saves to deny Anderson, Boyes and Gilmour with Billy Mckay also being blocked close to goal. Danny Devine did have the ball in the net, but his header was adjudged to be offside.
HALF TIME: 0-0.
Almost a goal at the start of the second half but Raith survived the scare. Raith grew into the game after the break and Ridgers was eventually called into action with a double block, scooping the ball away from danger. The inevetable happened with three minutes of normal time left when Gullan thumped the ball home after a poor clearance fell to him. Carson was then turned and Gullan hammered home to end the hoodoo. That got the monkey off their backs. Adam Brooks had an opportunity to level the game in time added on but never got enough purchase on the ball and MotM Dabrowski saved comfortably
FULL TIME: 1-0
Despite a promising first half where Raith would have had no complaints had we gone in at the interval three ahead, the hosts stuck at it and sneaked a goal in the last few minutes to put them top of the league on their own.
A much improved performance from the visitors where the defence did not look like conceding.... and then it happened.
