  1. Yep, as we suspected about Black. Which is surely indicative of how far CB had got from acting to the benefit of the club. Not totally sure I believe the Partick story, however, as he is now free from Cup tie, should Hearts want him early. Will be interesting to see if he plays in the next round.

Trust me you can believe it, he wasn't told he wouldn't be playing, and because he felt he had been consistent in previous games, asked why , only to be ignored, to say tempers then flared, I believe would be putting it mildly, I think Blackie felt used and abused, if CB wanted to leave him out to get a better fee, then could he not have used the man management skills he has (joke) and given Blackie an explanation? it would have saved a lot of grief, and if what im told is true a heafty fine as well. I believe Blackie then tried to talk to him again by asking to speak to him in private, only to be told NO, this is when Blackie erupted, but this was done in private with no one around, he basically told Brew what he thought, so was dropped again. Will he play in the next round, if he is selected, then YES, but dont bet on him being selected, because the board are aware he says it as it is, and i dont think Bennet likes him either, so even although we need him, it wont happen, but again, why dont we just ask him, he has the guts to say it as it is,

It's not like Blackie to be mouthing off :rotflmao:

:thumb04: :018: I suppose he is the only one that can do the talking as he has already decided his future is elsewhere

you are usually quite accurate stevie, however i know you know blackie better than that, he cares passionatly about the game and ICT, and has a football brain, he challenges things he dosn't like, albeight he is young so probably goes about it the wrong way, but its because he cares and not because he is leaving us for pastures new, if this was the case, he would never have been training with the reservs.

Wasnt saying that as a slant on Blackie more how the other players couldnt put there point of view out

sorry stevie, but you know and i know aint gona happen

I wonder if the "dressing room source" is a certain Ian Black. ;)

no its not, but we will have to wait and see, if they are big enough or as some would say stupid enough (threat of being dropped like Blackie) to come out and say who they are.

  3. Black should have played yesterday, simple as that.

Dods never stopped playing when he signed a pre-contract with Dundee Utd and he had a good finish to his season at ICT so why can't Black get the same?

Personally i would have put him in for Duncan yesterday because he was flippin useless. Everything he did just went wrong. Unless Hearts come in with something like 150k for him or if we find a decent replacement then i hope he plays every game between now and the end of the season.

And i think the abuse that some fans directed towards Black at the Hamilton game at Half-time was totally unacceptable.

Agreed, however, some people are idiots, they believe what they want to believe, I wonder who started these stupid rumours, but spot on with dods, and I believe we can expect the same off Blackie, the sad thing is, is he is surrounded with egotistical maniacs who can see no further than their own erses, no prizes for who I mean.

  4. It was quite evident from the body language yesterday that Ian was never going to get on the pitch but some fans - not surprisingly - perceived it as Ian not bothering.

If it hadnt been fer Brew - Ian Black would have been our main man - and if he went we would have coined in the spondoolachs. It is yet another reason why Brew should be ousted. But as long as Brew is there - Ian will get the silent treatment. The way ahead fer Ian is to look as if he is playing fer the shirt and not that he is fecked off with Brew.

The boy will play fer Scotland one day - perhaps - if things go as we want - his last game fer ICT could be at Hampden Park.

agree entirely, and blackie if you are reading this, TAKE THE ADVICE, play for us, and ICT f*** Brewster, he is as said nothing but a muppet, rise above him.

  5. Maybe not an actual fact but the spat between Brew and Black is well known and many fans / players have openly talked about it.

Ian Black is still an ICT player - there is no equal to him in the role of playmaker - he is feisty (and sometimes down rite stoopid) but he is young and still learning. The only reason that he isnt playing is becos Brew wants to belittle and humiliate him - Ian Black is a THREAT to God.

BUT Ian Black clearly doesnt want to play for Brew and it frustates me that my fave player reacts on the pitch in the manner that he does - He should be breaking every muscle / bone in his body to prove Brew wrong. He is playing into Brews hands with his latest lack lustre displays. He is going to Hearts and in his heart he is half way down Gorgie Road already - in my heart he may as well be there.

Why should a new manager even consider him if he isnt part of the future.

Thanks for the memories Ian and goodbye.

IHE, Blackie can only show us what he can do if picked for the squad, why are we allowing Brew to do this to us, he didn't even inform Blackie of the drop, and when Blackie asked why, he was ignored, when he asked again, the fell out , only for Blackie to be fined, again, he is angry at not being given the chance to play, he wants to play, if he had been given a half decent offer to stay, believe me he would have, he loves the game, he dosn't really care who the manager is, he just wants to play, I don't often disagree with you and for the most of this post I agree, but not wanting to play, I can't agree with that, it will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday, don't you think.?

I am told, he was lack lustre because he KNEW he wasn't going to get on, abd a few posts back hit the nail on the head, it is Brews way of humiliating him, and the fans just added to it, he is in poor spirits just now though

  6. dont go getting the wrong idea its what I heard

and another boys have posted on here hearing the same thing.

Im not insinuating that it is true in the least. its all hear say.

what I want to know is where you get your information from.

Wouldn't you like to know, Not yet my friend, but soon, but do me a favour next time think first., question what you hear,

  7. its what I heard I didnt claim it to be true

Oh now, now, now that it has come out dont you feel a little contrite as my wife says, you were insinuating, that it was true, or wern't you, if not I stand corrected.

Fact: To answer it all, he has showed his commitment throughout, every time he is on the park, as to the fall outs with Brew, the last one was last Sunday, BEFORE the game, he was angry at not even being involved, he asked the manager why, as he felt he has been consistent throughout, only to be ignored, he couldn't even answer him, so what is going on, I believe Brew is letting us down badly, as his ego has again taken a huge dent, yet again, Brews reasoning behind t could be that there is ongoing talks with hearts. Whatever the reason, Blackie is still here, and our best or one of our best midfielders, his tactical brain, his passing and reading of the game far exceeds brews anyway so why not use it.

  8. I wouldnt say biggest fan now,

sounds like your more of a stalker

dale gillespie gave black a shiner? you taking the ****?

    capslock.jpg

    hahahahaha!

OH DONT GET ME WRONG, IT WASN'T MEANT, DONT BELIEVE GILLI IS THAT BRAVE, BUT YES A FACT, IT DID HAPPEN IN TRAINING, AND BLACK WAS AVAILABLE TO PLAY, AND WASN'T TOLD HE WAS NOT PLAYING OR EVEN BEING CONSIDERED, I BELIEVE THAT IS WHAT KICKED NOFF THE ARGUEMENT, BUT WHY DONT WE ASK THE ELUSIVE BOARD OR EVEN BREW OR BETTER STILL BLACKIE HIMSELF TO CLARIFY.

  9. what I heard was that he was out clubbing a few times last week till 4am etc.

and in the heathmount he was being cocky and arrogant and told someone he wasnt going to play the partick thistle game to hamper his chances of signing for hearts early as he'd be cup-tied. This was where he got his shiner.

and that he phoned brewster up at 10pm friday evening telling him he was injured and fell down the stairs.

thats what I heard. whether theres truth in it or not who knows.

Thast also what i heard. Was being abusive to the someone in the pub when asked about his caley future and generally causing a disturbance in the pub, saying how he wants to leave, and cant be arsed playing for Brester (understandable) then someone told him he should still play for the club, as he still has a contract, Black then proceded to kick up a fuss, and the guy lamped him one.

Thats your big hero whos 100% committed to the cause!!

But who knows could all be untrue!!!!

OH i KNOW WHERE HE GOT THE SHINER, WHY DON'T YOU ASK GILLESPIE, HE DID IT AT TRAINING, AS TO THE HEATHMOUNT AND MOUTHING OFF, SHYTE, I CAN TELL YOU THE ONLY ARGUEMENTS OR FIGHTS HE HAS HAD IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS HAVE BEEN WITH BREW, DO I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT, YES, AND AM I HIS BIGGEST FAN? ONE OFF THEM. YES. BUT I AM A BIGGER FAN OF ICT AND BIG ENOUGH TO WANT THE BEST TO PLAY FOR AS LONG AS WE HAVE HIM. CAUSING A DISTURBANCE? BULLSHYTE, BUT IF IT WAS EVEN REMOTLY TRUE THEN DONT WE NEED THE FIRE ON THE PARK, NEVER KNOWN BLACK TO BE IN TROUBLE OFFFFFF THE PARK, HAS ANYONE ELSE.

  10. Perhaps his commitment to the cause is questionable. He'll be playing SPL next season whatever happens, the other guys won't.

His half-time warm up comprised standing around, and trying to hit the crossbar - a really useful skill for a footballer to develop :rotflmao:

It was quite funny though when 4 guys at the back of the stand were chanting that he's a w****r, a jambo b*****d etc, and he was just staring them out for ages.

HIS COMMITMENT IN QUESTION, that much BREW and him still fall out when blackie tells him there is a problem, and knows he will be dropped, but continues to say anyway. I DONT THINK SO, he is as commited to ICT now as he was at the beginning, we need him to stay up SO BREW, BOARD WHO EVER IF READING THIS USE THE SKILLS WE HAVE TO BETTER OUR CHANCES AND GET RID OF YOUR PERSONAL PROBLEMS AND EGO, AT THE MOMENT YOUR EGO IS COSTING US DEARLY.

I belieive that Brew has been dying to drop Black for a long time as doesnt like the fact that Blackie stands up to him, he couldnt drop him but now that Backie has signed a pre conract he has his excuse

oh stevie if only you knew how close to the truth you are, blackie says it as it is, and to everyone, and that includes himself, one day though, and believe me its not far away.

Ian Black doesnt even want to play for us anymore

I love how he dodged being cup-tied last week and just stood there and he purposely kicked the ball at the crowd/into a caley flag at one point

    hes an arrogant little *******

past few seasons he has been brilliant but he has no reason to play for us anymore he doesnt have the same commitment he doesnt give a **** and proved it during his warm-up at half-time

there were fans at the barrier giving him abuse right down the front aswell possibly.

trust me HE DIDN'T DODGE BEING CUP TIED, CAN YOU ADD UP, WAS THIS NOT PART OF THE FALL OUT WITH BREW, TIME WILL TELL.

Where do you get this from? Black hasn't dropped himself. More likely ICT that are protecting his possible transfer fee.

GETTING NEARER, HOWEVER NOT THE WHOLE SCENARIO,

and would you jepordise your dream move home by playing for a relegation bound outfit ?

    I KNOW HE WOULD

what I heard was that he was out clubbing a few times last week till 4am etc.

thats what I heard. whether theres truth in it or not who knows.

    I also heard that.

If that is true why was he even in the squad ?

EXACTLY, AND TRUST ME I KNOW THIS IS SHYTE,

  11. ok i know he,s signed for hearts but surely as long as hes at the club he should play, games like yesterday was crying out for him, wheres the logic in keeping him on the bench, especially since duncan was so mince,i have never seen duncan play so bad,and he should of at least been replaced with boarrowload of poo at half time, for black

brewsters that pig headed he would rahter keep black on the bench and risk his job rather than play him and maybe win :rotflmao:

so you have awakened, thank god.

  12. Spit it out Gillian.

Black and Imrie were both apparently fined recently for "talking back" in training and this may have been (part of) the reason they were AWOL on Saturday.

Cant, but oh I would love too, what do you know about talking back and fined???????

  13. Esson

    Tokely Mihadjuks Munro Hastings

    Duncan

    McBain Cowie Vigurs

    Morais

    Rooney

subs : Fraser, Duff, Wood, McGuire, Gathuesi, Barrowman, Imrie

No Black as I think he may be gone by then :thumb04: Thats why he didn't play yesterday probably, to stop being cup tied

Oh no it wasn't, and no he wont be away, but I think you maybe right, he wont be playing.

    -------------------------------------Esson----------------------------------------

    -----Tokely----------Mihadjuks------------------Munro----------Hastings-----

    ------------------------Duncan--------------------Black-------------------------

    McBain------------------------------Morais-----------------------Vigurs---------

    -------------------------------------Rooney--------------------------------------

Black has to stay for the most important game of the season. Vigurs on the left and McBain on the right where they did so well against Rangers (easy to swap around the attacking three if need be, i.e., Morais on the right/McBain or Vigurs on the left and centre as needs). Also easy to swap around where Morais is up front in a 4-4-2. Cowie dropped. Maybe coming off the bench will inspire him.

Wont happen, still be here but I can bet NOT playing.

We didn't play well on Saturday, we played Partick!!!

    :rotflmao:

    Exactly,

  14. I think it was probably right Black getting dropped today but then again communication in a team is a great thing!!!

    Why?

He is still an ICT player and great things happened today, we managed without him! However with him we could have done even better, they put Duncan in his place, we have to be honest he's no Blackie, if we have him for how ever long, then we need to use him. As to the loss of his spark, I cannot agree with this, but the resons for this I believe will soon become obvious, why didn't he play today? I know he was available.

  15. Blackie dropped

I noticed that. It suggests that either we are stopping him from being cup-tied because we are hoping to work out some deal with Hearts to allow him to leave now, or that Brew is being pig-headed.

Pig headed is not the words I would use, but as this sight is read by children alike I wont put on what i'd like to

  16. Interesting paragraph in there about MacKay apparently touting Blacks services to other clubs.

Reliably informed there was NO offer in January, it was nearer NOVEMBER, and as for the agent touting his names to other clubs,? is this not his JOB, seems someone knows what they are doing, even when it means to the detrement of our team, sounds to me as if Grassa or who ever is once again trying to cover their F*** Up. Back to what I have been saying, Blackie has said he WANTS to stay, so are we pulling out all the stops? Not F***** likely, we have blown it, Cowie well he said he would speak in January, we are almost there now, I think we all know we will loose them unless something is done PRONTO.

TM4TJ is not gonna be very happy with you !! :018:

    see here

    :rotflmao: :thumb04:

just add him to the list

  17. *Second Offer to Black*

Interesting paragraph in there about MacKay apparently touting Blacks services to other clubs.

  18. Where is the proof that DoF is to blame?

It would be great to have Ian Black on a long term contract, but don't be so naive to think that the ICT board/management have not realised that as well. I am sure something will be happening in the background, they just have not got round to posting on the website or emailing everyone on this site yet.

I have to agree IN PART, the board WILL have realised their mistake by now, BLACKIE< COWIE ....WILL....go in January and NOT at the end of the season, prospective clubs WILL put their offers in to take them away in January, and because we have F***** up YET again (Bennet), we will have to sell for a fraction of their worth, so where does this leave us then, dont tell me, I already know,oh and if it is not the DOF's fault then who's is it, he deals with the contracts, and if his strings are being pulled or reigned in, then dont we have a right to know.?

Gillian I hope you are wrong about them both going in Jan, but I have a horrible feeling you may be right , if this does happen it will be a disaster for the club, losing our 2 biggest assest for next to nothing

Ian knocked back contract offer today and 4 clubs interested in signing.

Not heard anything yet, so where did this come from?

  19. Absolute folly.

"He has been such a good servant to this Club and is one of the reasons why ICT progressed through the leagues. I need a new Barry Wilson and I have to give some of the younger guys a chance to see whether they can cut it at this level and if not I will have to look elsewhere".

Perhaps it would be a better tactical decision to retain the OLD Barry Wilson UNTIL you find the new one or see whether the younger guys can "cut it" as you so eloquently put it. In fact, the more times I read over that statement, the angrier I am getting. time to go for a coffee before I post what I really want to say ...... the swear filter would have a field day !

Word perfect, but Barry is a huge threat to Brew, so no chance, how many more games are we too loose, before the board sits up and takes notice, once Brew is away, then, and only then, will they listen, Barry will be back, we need him.

  20. What if the wages saved by releasing Barry are being used to secure contract extensions for Blackie and Cowie? Would fans still be complaining?

    (Where's that "rhetorical question" smiley?)

the reality is we would or Brew and the board would stoop that low, we are pathetic, to treat someone of his stature this way is beyond belief, I cant believe ive just said that, that is what we are employing, he is beneath contempt. And can I say if Blackie and Cowie are the men I think they are they wont want to be a part of it, so who looses out Barry, the team and the fans, BREW I HOPE YOU CAN SLEEP TONIGHT< BECAUSE YOU ARE CAUSING ME TO HAVE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS< get out now, bow out gracefully and with some shread of decency and allow someone of a better CALLIBRE TO TAKE OVER. SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING, SPELL CHECK NOT WORKING.

  21. Not surprised at all, he's not the player he used to be. We haven't seen any of those brilliant surging runs into the box for a while now as the pace has slowed. Sadly, time has taken its toll but thanks for the memories :rotflmao: .

Even if that was the case do you not think it would have been worthwhile to keep Barry at the club in a coaching role?

Stevico1, Barry is too much of a threat for Brew, he has shown that he is weak, knows nothing or has no man management skills, the players and fans alike respect Barry, he is ICT, and I for one believe he would see it as the honour it is to coach and eventually manage our beloved team, again something Brew lacks, though I also believe the Board will be pulling his strings, where will we be in January, I know, and I dont like it, GET RID OF BREW NOW AND KEEP BARRY

Gillian the more these things are happening the more I fear that your prediction that black will leave in Jan will come true

Stevico1, if only I could tell you, but believe me when I say, we are in one allmighty f***** mess, and I for one cant see away out of it, and if we loose Blackie and Cowie, well the rest is history, or should I say we are history, the quote earlier about reducing us hits home, certainly a ring of truth in it.

  22. Not surprised at all, he's not the player he used to be. We haven't seen any of those brilliant surging runs into the box for a while now as the pace has slowed. Sadly, time has taken its toll but thanks for the memories :rotflmao: .

  23. I ask as most of your posts seem to be on here defending / sticking up for him.

Was just being nosey I suppose.

I believe it is just the surname, anyway you are right I do defend him as I do Cowie and Vigurs, I like, love, support, respect them, they are what I go to see every week, they are the nucleous of our team, we all know we need them, on the lighter side, we all know the players, management etc read these threads from time to time, so hopefully Blackie, Cowie, etc read this and take notice, Oh and I have been asked by my side kick (wee lass) to say that its not Blackie she is after, its his wee brother, (seen him at the games), says he's better looking and younger.?
