First I have heard of it, and a lot of credit must be given to them for doing this!!! Well done lads!!
-
everyone thought we would miss dargo and wyness especially for this game, however Bayne played a blinder yesterday and deserves a lot of credit. well done graham!!! keep up these performances for the rest of the season.
i think wilson and bayne was the perfect partnership yesterday upfront, with wilson playing just behind bayne. both played well along with black.
-
totally agree, there are no 10 games left this season and if we play like we did yesterday then there we will definitely get 20+ points.
A real positive to take is that after the very poor game at Motherwell where the first half we were non-existent, the players managed to play A LOT better than at Fir Park. Full focus on the league now.
-
yep, you have summed up what i was coming onto say so no point in repeating it. Black was playing really well today.
Also thought when McBain came off, something would give as we had 2 strikers on the bench and with Black on a yellow and Wilson tiring a striker would need to come on at some stage for a midfielder.
However, Wilson off, McCaffrey on would have been better. Why bring McAllister on for a 3-man attack??? Add another defender to protect the lead at that late stage.
A great fight from the lads that were close to tears at the end of the game. I bet the players feel gutted but they can see what happens when they pass the ball on the deck. The goal came from our box with Tokely to Black, Black to Wilson, Wilson does some skill, Wilson to Bayne, Bayne to net. Fantastic goal!!!!

Could well be, for next season to compete with Mike Fraser. They guy must be ok to have a contract with Deprotivo La Coruna!!

well done barry!!! fantastic achievement!! his form recently has been great and has began running at defences again as was showin against Celtic.

maybe SKY might make it in the evening like the last time. I think it was at 6.30 or something??
Seriously difficult tie but it is the cup and anything can happen. It would nice to make it 3 in a row, wouldn't it???
-
well done bayne, first competitive scottish goal of 2007!!

Our next 3 fixtures are very important, against Rangers, Falkirk and St Mirren. We have to get at the very least 1 victory to try and steady the ship. Rangers will be hard as they are starting to find some form, Falkirk are a really good team but we have a good record away from home against them. St Mirren at home I feel is a must win. We have to make up for our opening day disaster on New Years Day. These fixtures will be tough but we must believe!!!
I was having a look at the Scottish Cup tie against Stirling. Not that I want to scare anyone but they have won 10 matches in a row at the moment, one of their best records in their history. I know it is only the 2nd divison but their confidence must be very good and we are at the other end of the scale. Obviousy, the league fixtures are more important right now though!!

Good luck Stuart. He is the sort of player to pass the ball along the surface which is what we need. I can't believe that red card was 2 years ago. Time flies.
We really need a result tomorrow, don't mind the margin as long as we get a win and a goal!!
-
I wouldn't be surprised if he left either on loan or in a transfer. He must be getting fed up sitting on the bench every week. I tell you, if we don't do something now, both Dods and Caff will be off in January.
-
I think we will really miss Brown next Saturday, but I am confident for Fraser and wish him good luck as I am sure he is already looking forward to it.
If he plays well, he will deserve a place in the squad. I hope he does do well and shows Brown how he feels sitting on the bench.
It was a shame for Brown today especially with the Scotland B squad match on Wednesday.

Good luck to the man in his first managerial job today, although did anyone here a quote from him this week:
He said: "There is a lot of talent in the squad and they have proved they can play against the likes of Celtic and Rangers."We are going to try and take that to the next level, which is consistency in performance and to become top-class players week-in, week-out - whether it is Inverness with rain, wind, gales or Celtic Park where there is a beautiful pitch.
Why didnt he mention our beautilful pitch????
-
I am now goin to the game. Getting a lift there, should be good. See you all there.

Seriously though, a good article for Charlie showing he isn't the quiet shy guy he looks like on the touchline.
Keep it up Charlie.
-
Must be good friends, but I am worried when he says he will only move for £1 million because I hear Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are going for him in the Summer!
-
For once we can look forward to some clubs sacking their managers because I think Charlie is staying here!!!
-
To think of Inverness CT going to Ibrox and ONLY winning 1-0 is disgraceful. We expect to win by 3 at least, get Christie sacked!!!! lol
Seriously, a tremendous result and a well deserved one. The fans were terrific aswell today. Christie seemed very calm after the game although I thought he might have come over and applauded the fans so we could show our appreciation. But he is keeping his feet on the ground which is a good thing and respect him a lot.
Well done Charlie and Parkie, you 100% deserve this.

YES the first of many wonderful reasons for a drink or two.
Now all I need is the lottery win but that would be greedy
I was actually thinking of winning the lottery tonight aswell but I don't think I did. The result will do for today.
Lets be positive

Lets just remember we have matched a team that are on a great unbeaten run in Scotland, who are running away with the league and still in the champions league. Apart from Nakamura hitting the bar, Celtic didnt look threating because of 1. they weren't playing brilliant and 2. our defence was dealing with everything.
The goal we scored was brilliantly worked along the deck rite from our defence.
