  1. The only positive I can see is we have yet to concede a league goal. Once our strikers find their boots .........
  2. Sounds like highland league new boys strathspey are tryin to break Ft Williams record for the most golas conceded in a season. 13 goals in a game and a half.
  3. Man City leading 1-0 but riding their luck for the last 5 mins
  4. Rory just missed a pen
  5. When Granty played alongside Dods he was consistant. I have a feeling that now he has a reliable co- central defender in Bulvitis with an experienced keeper in Esson behind them, that we will start to see the Granty that we remember from before he became Captain.
  6. I was in the pub in Nairn. All the prime places were grabbed by bluenoses well before kick off. All the jackets were on when wee John scored and the final whistle saw them gone instantly. We stayed for a few more.
  7. Still happy with just a point Scotty. Sure you are delighted with 3 like all of us. Well done the lads.

  12. MFR are giving updates on all Highland clubs which includes all the Highland League. Not quite as manic as open all mics
  13. 0-0 after 15 min. Twitter doesn't appear to be working since they left Ballinluig.
  14. MFR today is the best quality of radion reception I have picked up since coming out here. Only catch is it's mostly general chat about everything but the game. Suppose thats one of the perils of relegation.
  15. either use the link on the header banner at top right of this page or use the link in Scotties post at the start of this thread.
  16. Just came on line - got the radio going so I know the score. Followed Scotties instructions and went to the Chatroom to find it vacant. Sounds like the boys are starting to gel.
  17. I have joined it as ICsTatic FC,
  18. I sit corrected, it's to the death is it Scotty?
  19. obviously the boys need some more match practice - and they are going to get some in midweek i guess.
  20. 1. 72% 2 Ist (home) goal for club in SPL -at Pittodrie 3 25 4 St Mirren 5 1st SPL game at TCS beating the Pars 2-0 6 Grant Munro 7 Crai Darg, Tom Parrat & Dennis Wyness 8 Ian Broadfoot 9 Livingston (as acting manager) 10 Dargo
  21. I don't view Robbo as "going back". Since parting company with us and being relatively successful in his time away he'll have gained a lot more experience, learned a lot more about the job and grown his list of contacts. This means he would be returning as an experienced manager as opposed to the rookie manager that left for Hearts. Having been pretty successful at ICT as a rookie, then I think we'd be stupid to pass up the chance of seeing what he can do now he's experienced. Add to that the fact he's available, he's local, he's passionate about ICT and comes without any "baggage" (involvement in things which might detract from the job) and I don't think there's another manager out there that we could afford who ticks more boxes. To dismiss him on the grounds that he's been here before is, IMO, cutting off your nose to spite your face. I think Caley D has it just about right. I would like to see him given a contract til the end of the season, discussions regarding an extension dependent on survival. 16 games to go, how many points for safety, I wod guess between 20 and 25 so 8 wins required. 6 points in January would be nice, just look what happened at Spurs when the prodigal returned.
  22. How long have you been in Egypt??
  23. The chairman came out and said what he felt he had to say," said Brewster, ambivalently but with undertones of disappointment at the need for the often ominous vote of confidence from George Fraser after a fans' meeting. "There was a meeting of around 60 people and hardly any made any comments, so all the talk and all the stories are based on 20 fans at a club that has an average attendance at home of 3000. Some people forget how far this club has come in a short period of time. They just take it for granted that we are supposed to be a mid-table SPL club. Well, the SPL doesn't work like that." If the Chairman is prepared to make comments like the above it proves that his memory is also very short. Anybody remember how far Gretna came and went in an even shorter period of time than our club has been in existence. No we don't have the right to a place in the SPL, but to give up our place that was hard won, without so much as a whimper from those in positions of power. I don't believe that Brewster will fall on his sword because that would require him firstly to acknowledge that decent players don't always crack management, and secondly the integrity to realise that he is responsible for performances and inspiring his team.
  24. With the connection I get out here, didn't dare risk opening a second window, so have spent my evening in the company of BBC text. Morais and his buddy would appear to have settled in rather well. If Morais keeps it up he could be our top scorer by the end of the month. (lots of finger crossing going on here) One swallow doesn't make a summer but it is nice to finally get a win - albeit against our likely opposition for next season unless this is the start of the recovery.
