"Wonder how many of the 530 odd seats will actually be used?"
That was one of the main concerns put forward by Grassa.
Let's hope it gets supported enough for that not to happen!
forresdame - I wasn't having a pop at everyone for turning up.
My original comment was about folks that are vocal on the board, but
then fail to speak up when given the chance.
You don't have to tell me what a pain commuting to games etc can be! :004:
Perhaps next time, folks that genuinely can't attend could submit questions?
-
FD - the purpose of the West Stand is to provide an opportunity for a Singing Section. It'll be very much trial and error, and there will no doubt be problems - you can't please all the people all the time!
From what I took from last night, you must have a valid ticket, not just season ticket, to get into The West Stand. You are free
to move back and forth to your seat as you see fit - within reason obviously!
And to answer your question, if there was something I felt that passionately about and couldn't attend - I would have made **** sure someone else asked those questions for me!
-
"Mrs PB, your not the first to want me to shut up and I doubt you'll be the last "
On the contrary, I told you to "put up"!
Alan Savage, seems to me, to be a very approachable person!
If you wanted your voice to be heard - you had the opportunity.
-
"Lets be honest, the whole "giving people a voice" thing is a crock of chit "
If you chose to look at it that way that's entirely up to you, we've had this conversation before.
I'm very much of the opinon - put up or shut up!
"It's very easy to come on the website and have a moan!
Like you've just done you mean?"
Actually Don, I did both! I made several points at the meeting, and felt satisfied with the answers and plans we were given.
At the end of the day it's up to you what you get out of a situation. If you choose to look at it negatively as some sort of stitch up/shut up that's up to you.
As those that were there last night can testify (included two members of the Press) - every question asked was answered!
If yours wasn't - then you should have gone, or made sure you had someone to ask it for you!
-
Thought you had a proxy? :blah01:
-
Sorry but this really annoys me - if your given a voice for Christ sakes's use it!!!!!!!!!!! :008: :008: :008:
How many other clubs would give you such unlimited and uncensored access straight to the Chairman!!
He was right there waiting and willing to answer any questions!!!!!!
It's very easy to come on the website and have a moan!
Quite another to get off your flippin erse and do something!
C'mon guys - let's be more pro-active!!!!!!!
-
"In times of financial prudence spending without need seems a little silly"
From what I understand, the stand is "cost neutral" and is the easiest way to create a Singing Season without
getting into a pickle over moving existing Season Ticket Holders.
I think it's a fantastic idea, and I really hope people support it. Think what a boost it'll be for the players to run out facing a noisy singing section!
It was disappointing that they wasn't more folks there last night, especially those who have been so vocal on this board.

Celtic - that wee t0$$er Strachan really wound me up last season!

I think the main issue is players ego's running away with them, and them believing the hype their agents say.
Sorry, his agent wants commission from transfers, it's not in his interests for Dargo to stay at Caley.
Of course he's going to start spinning yarns, which Dargo IMHO, will struggle to live up to without a solid
team like ours behind him. Dargo can be a lazy wee fecker when he wants, when did you last see him battle,
or chase back for the ball again?
Yes it was 12 goals, but only 10 in the league - hardly sets the SPL alight - Dods scored 4 FFS!
If he wants to go then fine, but it's a risky move considering no-one has put anything else in writing
for him yet.
I've no doubt that Charlie and Grassa have been grafting behind the scenes, and Plan B is already
in operation - especially with how long this has dragged on.
We need a main striker that Denzil can thrive with, who can comfortably score 10 +, make a real contribution,
and not be so bl**dy injury prone.
If he stays in the SPL, no bother....Roscoe's gonna get 'im!

Thanks for everything Golly! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:

Every home game - League and Cup
1 x Reserve game
8 x Away - Aberdeen, Motherwell, Stirling (what a day!), Rangers, Celtic, Kilmarnock, St Mirren (twice).
Not a bad tally for our first season living back home in Inverness.
Bring on the new season fixtures...and more parties in the Dodgy Arms! :crazy07:

For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find
ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!'
Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an
intellectual way.
Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer
magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They
had one son, Jack.
In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple
produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull
Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.
Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high
school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt
divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids
were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was
then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock.
Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with
a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six
children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout
childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual
ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the
Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd,
and Horse.
Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently
returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.
NOW when someone says, “You don't know Jack Schitt,” you can correct
him or her.

Looking on the positive side - at least you won't get dazzled by sun and pelted by flippin rain in the West Stand!
Maybe motivation to stay in it for the less glamourous ties? :003:
