  1. I think that this is still at the very early planning stages, but if it does go ahead it will be for home fans only as you will have to go through a home turnstile to access it. As far as I'm aware it will therefore be open to all match day ticket holders, whether season tickets or single match day tickets and this will include children.

It looks like a great initiative, so let's hope the relevant authorities agree and give it the green light.

Well done to those who have been working behind the scenes to get this to the planning stage. It is hoped that this could be open by the start of the season which would be amazing if it can be achieved.

  2. Having this the day before Westlife makes perfect sense to fully utilise the venue. I think that they will sell out very quickly as they are restricted to 6000 tickets for the Friday night. ?25 is a reasonable ticket price too, so I think this will be a very popular event.

  3. I have noted the Stirling Albion event for a few seasons now and the Trust have talked about doing something along these lines. Unfortunately all of these things take time to organise (much more than you might realise).

We have set aside a planning day next month and I will raise this suggestion then, but it would help if we had some volunteers to join a sub committee if it went ahead. Any offers by PM please.

Also if you have any ideas you would like us to consider, (either fundraising or just for fun) we are happy to discuss them, so just drop me a note by PM with your ideas.

Our Trust board consists of a core of only 7/8 people so with some assistance we could do much more, so please get in touch if you would like to be involved, this might just be 1 event, a volunteer as required for various things or something more formal.

I look forward to hearing all your thoughts and suggestions

Oh and if you haven't done so already, then press the subscribe button below to become a member of the Supporters Trust

  4. Great news indeed.

I am sure that we will manage to find something to moan about, but not sure if it can be catering RiG as the issues are already being addressed.

Please to see Orion back involved with the club and it does suggest a better working relationship with Orion over the period.

  5. Welcome back GTWB - you have been missed.

Manager - I'm going to recommend Scotty for this position, maybe a bit obvious

Head Coach - Maimie - she has definitely got the best head (well hair anyway) for the job.

Fitness Coach - Gringo Jnr - after walking over 200 miles from Ayr, I think he qualifies

PR Consultant - Reliably Informed - rarely wrong

    Boot Room - Dalneigh Caley

    Boot Room - Miss ICT

    Boot Room - Renegade Jnr

  6. Ryan Esson was saying in foxes last night he doesnt think hes going to sign a new deal! Roy said he definitely wants to.

I didn't actually edit the post, but I'm not totally comfortable with reports from the pub on a Friday night. Surely everyone is entitled to a private life.

I know that Ryan would like to sign a new contract and negotiations are underway, but it will depend on the outcome of these negotiations as to whether or not a deal is done. As far as I know Roy's contract negotiations are at the same stage. I think both will eventually sign. I wouldn't like to lose either of them and Ryan has has a fantastic season. I therefore hope that the club dig deep to hang on to him.

If we were to bring back Michael Fraser as a number 2 to Ryan, I wouldn't have a problem. I think that Ryan would be a great mentor to Ikey. Remember Mark Brown is still warming the bench, so could he come back?

  7. Grant also brought the cup to the Drumossie on Saturday night. But Sunday kind of passed me by too, so I know how you feel.

For those of you who remember or who attended, we had an open night last season. Terry Butcher is really keen we do it again, but maybe through the day. The next time we have a Trust/Club meeting we will try to set a date for this. I would hope that we could use that day to have a chance to have a photo taken with the cup.

I'm sure the staff would be very accomodating, but they are vastly reduced in numbers and have a mountain of work to do to prepare for next season, so if you can hang on, we'll try to organise something, so that people do get a chance to hold and have a photo taken with the cup.

  8. Ok guys what I mean is IMHO it will be a 2nd rate act that will be aimed at the older ( main stand ) element of our support and therefore I wont be leaving the pub to be there at 2 p.m. to listen to a crud act . I dont want it cancelled , that was a tongue in cheek remark that as usual got taken out of context . Hope that clears things up for you .

You are very funny DC. None of us have any idea who it may be, but I'm sure it will be a fun day anyway. Lots going on so I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll go down early and enjoy the party. I really hope you are stuck in the pub missing a fantastic show.

  9. I'm starting to feel a little bit jealous.

Despite being a member of the Trust Board I haven't been so hands on in the production of the actual DVD. It was one of the those things where I was quite happy to wait until it was all done so I could enjoy the final product....now you all have your copy and I've not managed to get my hands on mine yet.

I believe there's an Easter Egg on there somewhere as well, so happy hunting...and please don't spoil the fun for everyone else if you find it, well not for a couple of weeks anyway until they're all pulling their hair out in frustration at not knowing where to look :D (I don't actually know where to look either...yet).

I know where it is, but I'm not telling lol. Worth looking for though.

I only have an early proof, so I'm looking forward to getting the final version. I believe it looks pretty good

  10. wonder who the music "special musical act" will be

The dregs from Rock4Life I would imagine......

First of all I don't know who it is going to be, but I do know that it won't be anyone to do with Rock4life. It was another company completely that were organising Rock4life so there is no connection there.

  11. I'm sure I can safely say on behalf of the Trust Board that we seriously underestimated the time and work necessary to pull this one off. This has taken months to produce, going way back to when we had to ask the SFA for permission to use the footage and then sourcing the footage from the BBC (Thanks to Steph for all her hard work with this). Then pulling it all together and adding the interviews from the night as well as Barry and Charlie chatting through it. Everything taking time to do.

I'm really pleased that the outcome seems worth the effort.
