    Aberdeen Game

It's certainly an idea Maimie - you just have to look at the noise generated at Hibs that shows we can really get behind the team. This idea however was tried and failed last season. I spoke to Morven about it but no one took up the tickets. I will be looking to get my ticket for next season ASAP after this one in order to try and secure a seat near the back of the stands - failing that I will buy and Away season ticket!

*still awaiting accusations being supposedly being a superfan* :?
  4. I will be there. Realistically I don't expect a Top 6 spot at the end of it though it would be nice. I haven't seen us play Livi all season so this is my chance to see the worst team in the league - talk about setting us up for defeat eh? - but we might send Livi down am I right? Anyway, I would also like a hat as well

    Aberdeen Game

I don't want to seem too critical and seem like I've got ideas above my station by I felt really upset after that game. It hurt to read the papers today and see Aberdeen ahead of us in the league and us back down to 8th. I know that probably is 'our level' but I just felt there was so little good about our game yesterday, especially after the result against Hibs, that it was hard to feel positive about ICT come 4.45pm. If Hibs play like they did today then we can kiss top 6 goodbye - at the start of the season an unrealistic target - but we seem to have really shot ourselves in the foot again during the run in and it does seem like the players playing Away so much more than back in the Sneck. But why? I do wonder if, and I admit I am one of them from time to time, the expectation placed on them is getting to them. When we lost to Motherwell no one, and I mean no one backed the team. You heard nothing from our fans throughout the game. Yet at the end enough of them got up to boo the team which I thought was disgusting. I know they are entitled to their opinion and voice or whatever but could they not have at least got behind them a wee bittie before spouting off at how crap we supposedly are? I mean I got abuse for standing up and applauding Proctor when he was carried off and the same thing happened today when Blackie was stretchered off as well. Some guy shouted 'sit down ya prick!' Away from home everyone gets behind the team and I honestly think that they feel more relaxed in that kind of atmosphere. Our Home crowds are so negative towards them at times it is scary. It took a full 30 odd seconds for the moaners to start having a go at the guys against Well. How are they meant to get this precious top 6 place with that kind of support? I don't think that Aberdeen are our bogey team. I think the TCS is our bogey stadium. Thoughts? I know I can be very critical of the support so I will expect some backlash here probably.

I'm going along on Saturday morning mate but no doubt catch you in the Innes on Saturday :) Really hope we win this one - DJS can vouch for my intense disliking of Calderwood so I really want to thump his team and GIRU him.

    Hibs Game

Atmosphere was fan - fupping - tastic yesterday. I still can't get over it. You could hear the echo from the chants round the rest of the ground. Blow my own trumpet time our fans were excellent! I am definately up for the hat thing lg so I will speak to you in the Innes on Saturday I am sure - smoke free and all!

    Away Day @ Hibs

How far was it fromt he ground? We got in late so we just headed straight in and that was about 2.45 methinks.

    Hibs Game

Never gave her the money as I was too busy trying to keep up with the shenanigans of the rest of the No. 1 bus crew - brilliant banter all day 8) Only bad thing about the journey down was some odd stop in Aviemore for no apparent reason. Good banter in the pub at Perth but because of the delay at Aviemore it was straight into the ground for the game. No hassles at the turnstile - student tickets for a tenner - soopah! Atmosphere brilliant right from the off and we had some good chances mainly arising from breaking up any forward movement from the Hibs defence with some of their players dallying on the ball on a few occasions. Wyness had a cracking chance to open the scoring but shot at the keeper. Morgan linked well with Hastings down the left side of the pitch as well I thought and Caff seemed to get more reliable as the game wore on after a wee bit of a nervy start I thought. Second half was more of the same - pretty end to end at times I thought. The ball was being moved about pretty quickly by both sets of players. Riordan and Sproule were a threat but as the game wore on Riordan was nullified and you could see his frustration by the end. An incredible finish from Dods saw us take the lead. A long through from Munro wasn't cleared and Grant followed up and stooped to header the ball back into the box. A wee bit of a stramash followed before Dods - I initially thought Wyness - fired home to send the Away support into raptures. We continued to look for a killer but at times were caught on the break but our back line stood firm and we always had Brown to call upon as he showed when he produced a finger tip save from a Riordan free kick. Wilson got the killer second from the penalty spot after what appeared to be a blatant trip on him but apparently there is some debate over this. I won't see the highlights this week so don't think I will really be able to comment too much on it but I was relieved to see him tuck it away and confirm the result that sent us back into 6th spot. Hope we can get the win we all want next week against the Dons - getting the train through with them should be interesting! Best bit of the day was meeting some of the players outside the ground while we waited for our bus to return to pick us up and my new avatar is the legend that is Ian Black who had one of his kids posing with him for pictures. I got all excited when I saw him

    Hearts & Rix

I've been looking at the Hearts message board and the best quote was one guy saying that this was normal practice and that they were going down the European route of manager management Aye that's right - sack him a couple of weeks before your Cup Semi appearence and the final run in for the league

What about the train? Would that be any quicker do you think?
  15. Aye and feel free to blend in on Saturday as well if you want! :D I've just realised how dodgy that quote sounds!

    Away Day @ Hibs

Ach it's a long story. She can make it now though. She wasn't going to be able to go after something that happened at the weekend. But now she can come through on the Saturday for the game so she will be there and Sian is looking forward to it as well - you should be at full strength!

    Celtic Game

Certainly from what I heard on the radio it sounded like we were a bit off the pace in the first half but did have some chances to score. But we were much improved in the second half creating a good few chances to get the equaliser but then fell to Maloney scoring from a free kick again. Seemed to be the final nail in the coffin but Hart grabbed a consolation right at the death. We certainly weren't overawed (spelling?) by Celtic which was very encouraging and we need to keep that attitude going into an important game on Saturday in which avoiding defeat is very important if we want to get this top 6 spot.

    Hibs Game

The BBC said 3pm when I looked at their fixture list yesterday. Think it will be. Can't think of a reason for it to change.

Aye no driving it for you this time I'm still going but it appears that Laura might not be able to go now :(
  20. Agreed. Here is IHE hanging out with some of the ICT casuals a few seasons ago... [img width=250 height=188]http://file007.bebo.com/large/2006/03/18/20/245691140a436698548b484123013l.jpg
