  1. Can someone a whole heap more techie than me tell me why my free view box has lost all the programme details? Still lists the progs on the guide but doesn't tell you what's on. I've run a scan, rebooted from both handset and plug but still nothing. Means I can't record...

  2.

I remember beating them 6-0 at Broadwood with Gardner Spiers in charge of Clyde.  I think we were Division 2 at the time.

One I remember that hardly anybody else will - we got a 1-1 draw thanks to a Martin Glancy equaliser, the year we went up with Livi, 98-99. This kept us 8 points ahead of Clyde.

The team bus made it over Drumochter but the supporters bus didn't as the snow gates got closed. Only a handful of Central belters there.

i remember that one - not cos i was there but because i was on the bus.  i'd taken 2 wee boys to thier first away game.  tried to get hold of the parents but couldn't as they were off enjoying themselves child-free.  ended up going to see Elf in Vue cinema, taking them to Pizza Hut for lunch then over the bridge to the County game in Caley colours!  guess it would be the away end we were in.

kids had a smashing day - cost me an arm and a leg....

  3. was listening to wednesday sportsound on the radio last week.

they have an item for the last 5-10 minutes where an ex player compiles a football eleven of the best players he has played with.

that night it was jimmy nichol ex man u , rangers etc. no 2 at killie.

his story re getting zico's shirt after NI played brazil in world cup, hillarious could have listened to him all night.

by the way his team centre half was one tel butcher

if i remember rightly Jimmy Nicol spoke at on of the do's before - might have been Barry's testimonial and was absolutely hilarious.

another one i could listen to again was Willie Young.  he spoke at a Chest Heart and Stroke golf fundraiser at the drummossie a few years ago.  John Robertson spoke first i think, and then Willie Young.  Willie was actually sitting at our table and he was great!  Brilliant night (£25 per head!).

  4. Maime, I assume you're talking about a blank CD that you've created? As it's not an authorised disk it wouldn't be recognizable for the internet to check and name them. Unfortunately, you're going to have to manually name them. (Right click on the song>Get Info>Info Tab)

If it's an actual CD you bought in a shop, then I am not too sure why it wouldn't get the information.

    Hope this helps anyways

    yay!!!

    thanks

    new to all this stuff....

i copied a cd to put on my ipod but it turns out itunes can't name the album or tracks.

is there any way i can do this manually before i put it on my ipod?

and remember - i haven't a clue about all this stuff so keep it simple!
