The spfl have been relatively quiet that two of the largest clubs in the country have been involved yet no sanctions and even tried to play games until ordered by the government to stop. Yet Partick and hearts both fighting to save jobs etc handed 2500 fines for the gall of questioning their authority. Double standards.

Is this proving the time old stereotype that footballers are idiots? How the actual can he forget allbthe travel advice and what his club told him and not quarantine for 14 days. Spain infection rate is at 37 per 100000 as opposed to UK at 14. The risk he has infected both teams is high. Twice now in less than a week of footballers taking The **** plus Griffiths has reportedly also had a house party as well in breech of the footballing rules.

The spfl and sfa don't do fair. That would penalise one of their ardent supporters of the farce earlier this year. The spfl and sfa thought it was fine to go ahead with the game. The government had to order them to stop the game. I assume the next two will also be curtailed due to this as it falls within the 10 day isolation period for those asymptomatic players. Yes it would be right the 3 point be given to st Johnstone but that wont happen.

Entirity of Aberdeen under the lockdown dome again, looks like football could be further away than we thought...
Rumours through here is that Aberdeenshire is more really getting shut soon if cases keep rising

By which measure is the system not producing?
We've had numerous players come through in the past 2 or 3 seasons, in the first team squad & match day bench.
Circumstances and/or the managers unwillingness to play them has restricted opportunity, but there has been players there.
Another problem with our fiscal situation recently means that without the level of reserve football required , the experience they need to get them closer to first team ready is less.
Only one of note is Daniel Macky. All the others were farmed out to fort William. If they were good enough they would have been in the first team and not just to cover injuries. A bench warmer is not a success story.

Its pretty simple.
Did Charlie Christie get the transfer money or the club?
Do we want to take football away from the poorest and give it to those who can afford it.
Read a little about andy maclarens football charity and think
I'd rather the club survived in the league than a youth system which at the moment isn't producing.

If the kids want to play football why shouldn't the parents pay? If your kid wants to do martial arts you pay, swimming you pay, tennis you pay, learn an instrument you pay. Why should this be any different.

Swings and roundabouts. When we were on top we took many of their players.
Now they are on top they are taking ours.
Pretty reasonable and simple if you think about it. Only two full time teams in the area. Any other move would require relocation.
They are only in the premier league for another season as it was cut well short. They wouldn't have survived and would have been in the championship.

Sorry but it seems to be a 50 50 love hate split on the horrendous away strip. They should have gone with black and red stripes sold more and made a bigger donation to the hospice. The colour will put many off buying it and as such a smaller donation being made.

Looks like some cheap schools kit. Absolute crap.

I wish him all the best. Shouldn't have been let go. Solid in defence. Good leader. Shot ourselves in the foot.

Still good enough for premier league why didn't we keep him?

Scottish football and the governing bodies only have themselves to blame. Their selfish and self centred mentality has caused this. Hearts and Partick probably didn't have faith in the arbitraions process and to be fair look at the SFA decision for our player who got the red card in semi final of the challenge cup. Their precedent doesn't promote confidence plus the judge did not rule out a return to the court of session of the case Merley it starts with arbitration. Plus hearts and Partick cam also appeal to the CAS etc so this is far from over and the spfl and sfa pushing ahead with starting the season is their own fault before finding out the result of this case. Also why haven't they convened the panel yet?

As he won’t qualify for furlough, I guess he’ll be by far our most expensive player at the moment!
He's worth it.

Shane In my opinion is the best striker we have signed in years.

League One or League Two? Safe to say that's C*unty out of the running, so. Cove Rangers or Elgin City really, maybe Brechin, if he's staying put in Inverness. Not really any other "local" sides that are easy to get out to in either league...
Peterhead, Montrose, Forfar?

Exactly costs increasing more players wages to pay from August with less income. Those coming in on new contracts cannot be putninto furlough. It's been an absolute disgrace from the spfl.
