  1. Sounds like you may have the inside track on whats happening with JR. I guess the first definite sign will be if he puts his Inverness house on the market and is seen viewing properties in the central belt. If it's really personal non-club related reasons that force the decision on him, then it's a shame but understandable. Either way, the Club must handle the whole thing positively, so that it doesn't leave a sour taste if he eventually goes. If it's true, do we play him to get the best of him before he leaves? - or do we continue to select the team as if he's already gone? A quality player like him? - He would be missed. :sillywave:
  2. Thanks. Found it. Makes sense. That was a week ago. I'll email the club to find out what solution they've come up with. After all, it's not rocket science. :022:
  3. Sure, an admirable position. Let's do the away fans a real favour - and let them walk. Meantime, I know the regulars who get the bus really appreciate the gesture from the club, and it would be a shame if dads with kids and older fans start shying away from using the facility just because of the hassle factor.
  4. Something has become really noticeable this season. The free bus that goes from the Stadium to the Bus Station has always had good numbers of away fans hitching a ride. Normally that is fine & we get a bit of craic with the visitors. However, it's now gotten pretty bad. The worst of verbal abuse, insulting songs and a pretty threatening atmosphere makes the trip an ordeal for us home fans. God knows what parents with kids must feel about this? I don't know of any other SPL club that lays on a free bus for travelling fans. Should the club insist that the driver only allows home fans with season tickets/home ticket stubs to get on? After all it's our money that's paying for the bus!
  5. As a professional SPL outfit surely we must employ a network of scouts who in turn have a number of tipsters on the lookout for the next decent signing. It's a bit pointless having this set-up if our favoured tactic is to see who left us in previous seasons and then go on bended knee asking them to return. His only reason for accepting would be because his career has gone belly-up and we would be his ticket back into the spl wage bracket. There's plenty more fish in the sea.
  6. At the Scotland Turkey international, a bunch of fans in the south stand were singing the tune 'when the saints go marching in' with the words; oh Inverness, is wonderful oh Inverness is won-der-ful It's got a bridge and a castle, oh Inverness is won-der-ful! It started easily enough, as all it took was for one person to start 'Oh Inverness!' and folk round about started to join in. Crazy lyrics, but you can't argue with them, and everyone knows the tune! Strange though....I haven't heard it since then? :030:
  7. MMMmmmmmm.......so who will he replace on Saturday? Could McAllister's showing against Rangers have made the decision easy for CC? :024:
