  1. The ICT Supporters' Trust has been in touch with Dee4Life regarding this coming Saturday and the Dundee Social Club on Thistle Street will be available for visiting fans before the game.  So why not pop along as its not far from Tannadice.  A map can be found here.

Kids are welcome but the Social Club would appreciate some advance notice if you are bringing any along so if could let us know please.

  2. "The gods have not been kind, not least the devilish SPL computer which decrees that St Mirren must go about their business on New Year's Day in Inverness.

Are they mad? Ne'erday, in the good old days, was derby day. Do they possess a map in the SPL offices in Hampden?"

These are the words of Chic Young on the BBC website.

At this week's meeting betwen the Trust and the football club I asked the question why this game was taking place on New Year's Day.  Surely, the 2nd would suit more fans of both clubs.  The answer is simple.

ICT wrote to St Mirren suggesting the game be put back 24 hours.  St Mirren have been back in touch saying they are unwilling to change so the game has to go ahead on the 1st.  This seems a great shame to me and I'm sure it will inconvenience quite a lot of fans.  If you fall into that category, you know who to blame.

Oh, and if you hear Chic Young spouting such nonsense again in the coming weeks, perhaps someone would put him right.

  3. An excellent evening with lots of kids and a few adults enjoying themselves at Rollerbowl.  It was great to see Craig Dargo, Darren Dods and Alan Morgan coming along to join in the fun as well.  The club also made some complimentary tickets available for Saturday's game for those at Rollerbowl and this was much appreciated.

  4. I'm a card carrying Nat and it was no surprise to hear Labour churning out the same old seperation and divorce stuff at Oban.

The big danger is the number of central belt voters who at the end of the day would be willing to vote for a stuffed teddy if it was wearing a red rosette.  Scotland may yet lose its bottle once again.  I hope not and 2007 would be a brilliant year to do it.

  5. Was showing some of the old photos to my father earlier tonight  and he spotted something interesting.

If you look at the two images of the entrance to the Playhouse there is a significant difference between them.  The older b&w image has an air raid shelter in the street outside the Playhouse.  My father remembers leaning his bowsher's bike outside it on occasions.  The film being shown at the time was Edward, My Son starring Spencer Tracey which would date the photo to around 1949.

  6. The Supporters Trust is holding a bowling evening at Rollerbowl on Friday, 1st December at 7pm.  The cost is £5 per person for two games and some ICT players will be in attendence.  Kids will be most welcome if accompanied by an adult and this event is open to non trust members.

If you'd like to come along please phone 07879221569 or email info@ictsupporterstrust.co.uk so that expected numbers can be passed on to Rollerbowl.
