Embarrassing Confession...?
There's no need for SatNav around here as there are so few roads and so little traffic to get lost in,
Youve obviously never been a parcel delivery driver, given a parcel with a KW15 postcode then
I work around the Black Isle a lot.....does SatNAv include Gallic house names?

In the midst of all this discussion about who it is right to support and who it isn't one thing I can't get my head round
Ross County attracted 15,000 glory hunters !
The mind boggles. Perhaps if it had coincided with the sheepdog trials, ploughing competition or peat-digging they'd have had to settle for only 5,000 fans at Wembley?
Still, the argument surely follows 2 simple rules:
1) you support the team you follow
2) you support the team your rivals are playing (but not as much as 1) above)
so Caley and 'anyone but County'
or Scotland and 'anyone but England'
and in my case I add a 3rd result...'Man City and 'anyone but Utd'
simples!
Love the city bit!
30 years a season ticket at City....34 years since they won anything
maybe I'm a jinx?

There's no need for SatNav around here as there are so few roads and so little traffic to get lost in, but............I'd love to have a SatNav that used Darth Vader's voice for the instructions
'you need to use the take the second left and come over to the dark side' and
'The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force, take the 3rd exit on the Longman roundabout' and
'Obi-Wan has taught you well. You have controlled your fear. Now join the A96 near Tescos'
would be great......for about a week.
Thankfully the missus won't let me get one

I'm doing my own version of the Highland March.....I'm going to Man City's last away game at West Ham (and back)
Always a good laugh down there, Hammers fans are good people....even if all the pubs are Eastenders parodies

Anyone But England

Links from the Sunday Times today. The kind of things we don't want to see from our players but well worth a look.
A shocking tackle (and referee) http://snipurl.com/vwd0g
A shocking miss http://snirpul.com/vwcwc
and shocking simulation http://snirpul.com/vwd22
saw a few shocking misses yesterday from Eric

Utd fan from.....................Auckland, obvious really
by the way, Steven Gerrard just gifted Chelsea a goal. You better hope Sunderland Hospital has a decent stroke Ward because I think Baconface is gonna need it when he sees that goal

As a man city fan, id be very appreciative if you ****** off. Thanks in advance.
heh.....post of the day imho
couldn't agree more with it !
Watching ICT today and trying to avoid the score at Eastlands

last time I saw a band in a stadoum before a football match was the lsat game played at Maine Road.
The Badly Drawn Boy did a set before kick-off and the Doves were on afterwards..........however the football was sh!t and City lost 2-0 to Sot'n
Tomorrow I'd settle for a 5-0 win for ICT and put up with the Krankies in order to get it

Remember when they offered Kaka the highest wage in history, and 2 weeks later signed Craig Bellamy? :P
I'm biased but I don't think you could dispute that Bellamy has had a better season than Kaka !
As for the idea that city are just throwing money at it - fact! (as Rafa would say)
number of youth academy players to play for their 1st team this season:
City 10
Villa 4
Spurs 2
paying over the top wages to attract talent:
City are nly doing now what Liverpool, Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea......and if you go back far enough the likes of Huddersfield(!) hve done in the past. Of course the money is obscene, but I get more from watching football than from watching Robbie Williams and he earns milions too!

Ferguson is known as Baconface to the City fans....one of their better nicknames for the old **** !
-
terrible goalie
is it too late for Dundee to sign him?
-
c'mon Bayern
let's have a good kick at Rooney's ankle
I'd have kicked it in the tunnel

I see it this way (having lived down south for 40 years). For 90 minutes I hate England and want them to get gubbed. The rest of the time they are decent people.
It's not racist, just part of a tribal sport
-
shame ;)
Man City have been at it with another poster designed to annoy Baconface Ferguson

:D Err.... stick to fixing computers Gav..

we've got about 18 inches of snow lying here on the Black Isle (Culbokie).....luckily the County fans in the area are great at clearing it with their hands.......(webbed fingers you see)
-

Bolton have overperformed for years under Big Fat Sam....with the resources and fan base Bolton have they should be happy to be in the EPL. Megson couldn't afford for any of his big signings not to work.....?12m for Elmander?
