  1. Classic. To be fair if I was Londoner I wo.... nah, I'd still know.

Inverness is East coast, so East Highland is fair. North East Highlands would be Caithness and Sutherland. North is too general, and Moray firth wouldnt help anyone find it.

New name for ICT....East Highland United.

...thanks...if i'm ever asked again I think it'll just say it's 'the home of football'

  2. (feel free to call me thick but.......)

((and bearing in mind I do have a degree in Geography!))

....for purposes of a job application with Scottish National Heritage Inverness is considered 'East Highland'.....if anything I'd have said 'North Highland'?

....for the weather forecast on the telly, from BBC in London we are 'North Scotland'...ok, don't have a problem with that

....for the weather forecast on the telly, from BBC Scotland we are 'Highlands' or sometimes 'Moray Firth area' but 'North' seems to mean anything past Perth to them in Glasgow?

we're obv not West Coast for anything ('cept for all those Caley fans travelling from Portree)

Are we North or East Scotland?

Confused......might have to ask a really clear thinker......p'raps Brew :rotflmao:

  3. St Mirren - 4-4-2 changed to 4-3-3

    Aberdeen - 4-5-1 changed to 4-4-2

    Motherwell - 5-4-1 changed to 5-3-2

Is this a new record for the most changes in formation in a 3 game period?

Is it any wonder that our players are running around without a clue what the plan is?

don't change tactics and lose...Brew gets pelters

change tactics and lose...Brew gets pelters

He can't win can he? Quite literally....

there has to come a point where he has had enough of it

  4. it didn't do Hull any good, just embarrassed the players in frnt of the fans...it could well backfire against Brown

City had the game won and eased off after half-time

off subject...how much could Caley afford wages-wise for another striker? Got a couple at City that need games that certainly aren't going to get them after the transfer window

  5. It's hard times but we just have to get on with it.

The fans need to get right behind the boys and never give up.

a real fan will support the teams through their hardest of times and put up with what ever is thrown at them

    For better, for worse!

    I will never stop believing!

    Ict are for life!!!

I not gonna walk away from the club and I wouldn't boo the players, but as a paying spectator it's perfectly reasonable to question the tactical mistakes that everyone bar the management team can see.

Brew shows no signs of knowing what's wrong at home and therefore does nothing to fix it.

4-5-1 only works if you have a player like Thierry Henry up front!

  6. Many home games this season there hasn't even been any pressure to soak up. We've just not performed.

Aye maybe you're right. Maybe we're just inept then? :rotflmao:

Perhaps our chief weapon should be surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons should be fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons should be fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to Tokely....

  7. What's the problem at home? Tha same as dozens of other clubs have.....trouble breaking down a packed defence that can break rapidly to nick goals. Teams have worked ICT out up here. Sit back, soak up the pressure and if we overcommit they hit us on the break.

The only answer is to come up with players/tactics that can do someat unusual and that costs ???. Until then we should concentrate on becoming hard to beat at home before trying winning at all costs. Of course if the feeder club were to unearth a creative midfielder and a speedy forward it would help :rotflmao: :thumb04:

  8. from the bbc site:

A council alleged environmental health officers uncovered a dirty kitchen and an infestation of rats during an investigation of a restaurant.

Highland Council said Ashraf Veettil, owner of The Spice Malabar, was fined ?695 at Inverness Sheriff Court for not having a food safety management system.

A not guilty plea was accepted for failing to ensure the premises were kept clean and protected against pests.

Officers inspected the business in Church Street, Inverness, in December.

    Poor hygiene

The local authority said inspectors "uncovered a series of food hygiene problems including the operation of a dirty kitchen and an infestation of rats".

Environmental health officer, Patricia Sheldon, said: "In this case we decided to submit a report to the procurator fiscal due to the poor hygiene standards and a failure by the owner to ensure the safety of the food operation."

Alistair Thomson, the council's head of environmental health and trading standards, said the vast majority of food businesses in the Highlands complied with food safety requirements.

  9. I have never once called for Brew's head, but our home form is a disgrace and I won't be going anywhere near TCS until I see some sign of improvement. Whatever brew's strategy has been at home, it isn't working.

Agree with the first bit, not the bit about not going though. I'd hate to miss the game where we turn the corner formwise. Things can only get better etc......

  10. I was working in London at the time, once the initial bombs had gone off it was pretty edgy on the tube to be honest. I had a day off on the day of the first bombs, which was just as well as they blew up my regular train at Aldgate! After that they drafted in loads of coppers form outside London who didn't have a clue what to look for. No-one who wasn't a bomber would have argued with the armed coppers that were everywhere, I guess if they'd shouted at Menezes he'd have co-operated and if he didn't they have just shot him. It sounds to me like they just shot him, but they were under orders to do so.

Cressida Dick gave the order yet she's not on trial...typical

Still, all I needed to do to get a carriage to myself was to carry a rucksack. Got a right bollocking off my missus when she found my Tube tickets as I'd said I'd travel by cab....but there were 4 hour queues for cabs at the time.
