Fraz - sorry for the sarcastic interruption - It says a lot when CC makes that statement - Let's hope that more icons join in the chorus. Wyness Shuffle should seek out opinions - please.

Presumably the pre- arranged date to sign on in Dungwall ?

I’ve always renewed my season ticket but whilst the CEO is still here my money stays in my wallet. I’ve spent loads over the years on ICT but the CEO obviously dodged the training in interpersonal skills as, when I’ve been anywhere nearby him, he looks at me as if I’m dirt under his shoes. I’ve worked and been a team member in high places with people who valued me. My ICT cash has gone towards his likely inflated wage so, until he goes, ICT will miss out. I don’t think I’m alone in my thoughts.
Try and chill out Lizi. Put your feet up, pour yerseif a dram and enjoy an entertaining read - which I would personally recommend.

With Robbo and Bazza moving across the bridge in June then serious discussions about a merger can take place, under the supervision of Uncle Roy and Gardiner.

And on 10th June Mr Robertson will be able to continue to maintain his garden through pay cheques from Global Energy.

Read the full statement HERE
"We have been working for a number of weeks on a comprehensive restructuring plan for what we believe is the best way forward for ICTFC, details of which will be announced in the next few days, but following last night’s Board Meeting, I can confirm that the club will remain full-time next season and I thank everyone in advance for showing some patience as we make sure that plan is finalised".
Key Points from initial Statement (only 3 days late)
- Club to remain full time
- Focus on long term stability
- More news to follow. (this must be the tip of the iceberg!)
So far, this is not the news the we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better.
What a well considered and worded statement - couldn't do better myself. To me this is clearly ALL about the Battery Farm outcome - and nothing will change at the top until then. And then we will see the fireworks

Ah the fond memory of storming into the Jail End.

Feck it - Get as many clubs as possible in amalgamation and rename Caledonian FC, and rename the North Stand to the Howden End. We could rename the toilet block as the Shed ?

Interesting metaphor, given the alleged preferences of the CEO.
What is his hand shake like ?

Club Statement
We would wish to sincerely apologise to our loyal fan base for the delay in a more immediate response to the torturous events of last weekend. We wholly understand your anger and frustration and can only assure you all that we are working day and night, seeking the most appropriate way forward. We did have a contingency plan for relegation but we need to now look at this again and iron out any doubts or consider other potential options. We cannot afford to rush through any plan without calculated and ultimate consideration. We will make a clear and final decision by the end of this week and this will be conveyed in full to all of you.
Scott Gardiner CEO
PS - do you like my style suckers

Need to revisit my prophecy of the Tore Stadium - inclusive of Retail Park, Leisure Centre, Football Academy and ample car parking. I think the original plans are in the loft.

Jeshus don't tell Alex Samuel about Dr Faustus
Let's amalgamate into Highlanders FC.

I would just wish to intervene and suggest that the sad group of pre 1994 individuals who resurrected themselves in ICT were as distraught and distressed when Caledonian FC died as they were on Saturday evening. And one could compare both situations to a degree ? When when have we ever had a united board ? And finally FFS don't write another feckin fairy tale

I'll say that only after the Scumilton fan ran across to our North stand goalmouth gloating and giving the finger did our fans invade the pitch, Before that I don't think they would have done so.

Which was one of his strengths as a player. We needed somebody who was more local and had a knowledge of lower league Scottish football. We loaned in too many who thought they were prima Donnas. Perhaps those who employed him were at fault??

Dougal never invaded the pitch. He was a bricklayer down the Carse Road in the 80's

I have just been told about the rolling contract and I am also told that there is some form of contracted early pay-off clause. In different circumstances I could stomach that BUT. I hope that Dunc does the right thing. His interview prior to the Hammy game was shocking. I can accept injuries, taking over at a very low point, loss of key players and loanees. I can also accept the style of play but there was a lack of a Plan B. As Yngwie alluded to earlier the adaption of the playing style and the chopping and changing may not have helped. I really hope that is not one of the excuses provided if and when any statement comes around. But lets face it we were beaten by a far better team - we were beaten by a team that played as a team and evidently gave 110% for the shirt. We certainly had those clearly giving it all and, looking at the player poll for the game, it appears that we all know who they are.

Like you and I Dougal people change over the years. I can't believe that most of our support will not totally admire CC for standing up against a very controlling organisation, despite the damage that he may experience in retaliation. We need more ex-players and employees to speak out against our the tyranny.
