  1. a bit off topic here but i have been really impressed with machines attitude so far this season.

after openly admitting to wanting to leave i was of the opinion to change captains (quite popular these days is it not) and possibly drop him from the side.  I imagined he wouldnt be as committed and getting Caff or a younger player more SPL experience would benefit the club in the long run.

I have be proved wrong and it seems a testiment to his personality that he still gives his all for the club, as CC kept reiterating.

    mucho respecto machino!

  2. Personally i wouldnt go to smiths, its a bit out the way and also an ex county managers connection.  Nothing against the pub but think a booze up in town then taxi out is the best solution.

I presume the Halfway would be packed with binos.

There a range of pubs in town, as H.C said O'neils, good pub, 1 min walk from train station, Sportsters, plenty of screens, Varsity, cheap food and drink if u buy a card for 2 quid and plenty seats and screens.

Not 100% on what these pubs policy is on kids getting in though

  3. I dont think Bayne is playing badly but the with him in the team the temption is there to hoof it up to him.  Bayne won the flick ons on numerous occasions but we lost possesion. He needs to hold up the ball and create a second phase of attack.  Black and rankin were bypassed for most of the game.  Only remember one ball into the strikers feet which no use when you have a talent like dargo.

Caff played well and put in some great tackles but the loss of dods aerial ability and strength was missed.  Every corner was carnage.  The second goal is amatuer.

Dougal would have been as useful if he swapped places with his namesake in the magic roundabout

  4. The kerse inn, is that the halfway house?

The draw cheered up no end after that horrible display.  Id recommend everybody to get boozed up in town then just taxi it out to the ground.  Taxi wont be more than a fiver.  Otherwise a 20-30 min walk depending on the state yir in.

BTW if harrys place is full there is some floor space at mine for those who want to experience the mighty Stirling night life!

  5. Dennis has never been a player who will pressure defenders or close down space but he plays in the right positions for receiving possesion. Thats his style, always has been, his goals return ratio proves that his style works and therefore he shouldnt change it

  6. im going from the 8th till the 27th of June. Just camping round the country, not got any tickets just going to soak up the atmosphere by going to the cities where Brazil are playing and holl v ned etc. Staying at random campsites and these fan cities that have been purposely built for this summer, see fanproject2006.com

  7. im clueless on the subject but the Spanish dont seem to abuse the high number of 'Black' players from Brazil. But the African 'Black' players seem to get it tight. Or maybe it is just Etoo is a Lennon type figure and the racist card is the obvious way to get at him.

  8. I wouldnt say players only go out on loan if clubs dont have a use for them, especially when they are still young. Barry Robson was in a similar situation a few years ago, he showed promise but couldnt get a run in the first team and his decision making was poor due to a lack of experience which led to frustrations from the fans.

He went away and came back a different player. Off the top of my head Mulgrew at United. United are desperate to keep him but Celtics (supposed) intention was to take him back.

The Juanjo loan confused me, i presume it was at his request to make a name for himself before becoming a free agent? Doesnt seem to benefit ICT in any way.
