  1. Has anyone considered that this Kelty move is probably a tempoprary thing to give the club some breathng space. I totally understand the level of anger but if it came down to it i would take Gardiner out over the Kelty move. His presence is clearly damaging relations.

  2. I agree with a lot of what is being said in this thread. For me the club did not build on our successful cup winning and SPL season under Yogi.

Perhaps the appointment of Chisholm and his Highland League experience will do us good when we end up back there.

  3. Not here to moan but we could have done with some live radio commentary last night. I remember Moray Firth used to do it and Im sure a couple of fans did it at one point.  So  i need to ask what happened to the various media (Radio, TV) that the club, fans, local radio used to provide?

Oh and I don't live in Inverness so home games are tricky to get to for me.

  4. i was a tad disappointed when i got to my seat and no card!  I was in the South stand so not part of it. But when I saw the display across from me i was glad. Well done to all involved in its making. It looked fantastic and added to a great day

  5. I'm not really a programme buyer but a jambo mate suggested that i could order one from the publishers. Means it won't get all bent and messed up in my jacket pocket.

Anyone know who prints these so i can contact them?

  6. Definately this club has surpassed my expectations.  I always knew Caledonian & Thistle when we merged, were far superior to the then 2nd and 3rd division teams; so as far as dreams were concerned it was to play in the top division which we achieved in no time at all.  Yes I always had dreams of winning a major trophy or playing in a European competition but these were pipe dreams.

Credit must go to Butcher & Malpas for installing the "I believe" ethos in the team and the fans;  and i'm happy that that has been strengthned with Hughes et al.

What would it mean to me? Well some fans spend their whole lives supporting a team who will never reach the heights we have, so this would mean the world to me and hopefully to the kids growing up in Inverness.

If we do win this cup i emplore the club to exploit it and ram it down kids throats. Bums on seats is everything.

and my thoughts are with those 2nd and 3rd division teams who are still chasing that dream.

  7. I could have done one but i think its a little too late now. I did think about one using samples from the truly awful "Bring it on home" but I'm not sure the club or Mr Balfe would have endorsed such work

  8.

Its good to see my old bands being mentioned! I was the drummer in The Boyfriends with Graham and A Gentle Sound. AGS only played Inverness twice ( Spectrum Centre & The Muirtown Motel). Graham did go onto better things! I think he was involved with the BIS lot and is still doing his Thurston Moor impressions these days!

I dont recall JAMC playing Inverness! But I did attent a lot of those gigs mentioned, Death Cult, Smiths, Soiuxie, Echo. Anyone do The Clash at the Ice Centre?

Join the AGS fan page on FB! Lots of memories, demos & pics,

Saw youse at Barrowlands supporting Northside, thought you were going to be big. What happened?

Could'nt ever top that night! We just fizzled out like the whole 'Baggy' thing did. If we had kept on we might have merged into a Brit Pop band. 25th Anniversary this year so you never know we might do an reunion show lol.
