Best thing to come out of administration if the clearing out of the club from overpaid, under performing individuals. There's board members, management/coaching staff and players that need jettisoned with the appropriate tarnishing to their reputations. Thankfully admin allows us to do this without having to pay off full contract values etc.

Time to rebuild with better process controls and individuals offering value rather than being there for the kudos and personal gains.

Am guessing you wouldn't be seeing administration as such a great thing if your job was on the line.

It’s disappointing that we couldn’t make this work, even at a much more accessible price point than previous attempts.

Was Gardiner basically right all along that there’s not enough demand for hospitality amongst our support? Other, smaller clubs seem able to run a regular offering.

Your ongoing defence of Gardiner is getting even more bizarre. No wonder the club is in the mess it is.

  3. The ST will have had another whiff of the blazer and the boardroom vol au vents.

The gullibility of the support has allowed things to get to this sorry state.

Looks like that desperate one is already here . Clueless but knows he won’t get a job anywhere else,  same as his mate Gardiner now totally un employable in football .

And yet, he is being allowed to wreak yet more chaos on the club.

  5. There is probably not a club in Scotland with less credibility than this one--anyone even considering taking on the manager's job in the current circumstances would need one criterion: to be completely desperate for a job.

There are lots of unanswered questions - but just because we don’t know the answers doesn’t necessarily mean the answers will be as bad as you fear!

Even if the Board are naive and have been seduced by the buzzwords, the club’s lawyers ought to be ensuring that normal business acquisition procedures are followed, which early on would include obtaining evidence of the availability of the necessary funds.

One thing that nobody has pointed out yet is that of the 13 companies Makwana has ever been a director of, NONE of them have suffered any form of insolvency. For a ‘serial entrepreneur’, or fantasist if you prefer, that’s actually pretty good going!

The kind of glaikit thinking that has got the club into this position.

  7. It’s a classic ploy by under pressure boards to buy the compliance of fans’ groups in return for an enticing whiff of the Old Inverness and vol au vents on offer behind those boardroom doors.

Invariably, too, those same doors soon slam shut, leaving the poor mugs high and dry, predictably.

Been saying for years he's a *** tbh. From the Pixalot and Fan's Forum debacle it was clear he was useless and didn't want any fan engagement whatsoever. I emailed him after 'bald linesman gate' outlining a bunch of suggestions to improve the offering and the awful commentary. No acknowledgement at all. Emailed re the fans forum, same effect, emailed re family events no reply, emailed re kids Christmas parties, guess what? Only in the last few months have I ever had any kind of reply from Scott Young on the SLO email.

Hell, fans of various clubs were laughing at us and saying we'd made a massive mistake as he was utterly incompetent wherever he has been (similar to Ferguson). We are generally such a passive support though and even if we spoke up, what avenue would we have? Gardiner set it up so that absolutely everything had to go through him, had no SLO and no present board. Even if we got through to the board they seemed to be besotted by Gardiner for some utterly baffling reason.

He seems to have thought of this as a means of getting his dream job at Ibrox, and all of his failed schemes and scams may be seen in that light.

    They actually deserve each other.

Charles mentioned that there had been a letter sent to the various media outlets in Inverness that if there were to be interviews given outwith the club giving permission there would be repercussions.

Some personal thoughts: Eh what on earth?! Who thinks that is acceptable? I'll presume there was no name on it but we can all guess which person did it.

I took from Kenny MacIntyre's input that the BBC in Glasgow received the same letter? Also tellingly someone (maybe him) said the normal people who do the talking are keeping quiet, think we can also all make an educated guess as to who that is.

Pretty outrageous stuff, beggars belief this guy is allowed to 'work his notice', basically given time to cover up the utter shitshow that he has created.

The credulity and all round cluelessness of the rest of the board in allowing this all to happen means that each and every one of them should be oot the door too.

  10. When people say 'investment' in a football club, what that really means is some rich person throwing a part of their fortune at the club, never to see it again.

Investment is not the word, more like donation.

The majority of Scottish footballers will not seriously consider relocating to Inverness, certainly not for a mediocre salary and a 1 or 2 year deal. We are therefore fishing in a much smaller pond than our competitors, that is the sad reality.

That’s right, the dream of every Scottish footballer is to ply their trade in Kelty.
